    Anyone else own or had a freelander 1 had 2 now first td4 was bomb proof but the 2003 I have now also td4 is falling to bits on a regular occurrence I’m a mechanic so it’s not too bad cost wise but it’s a pain in the arse I really do like them more than capable off road and not bad to drive I know people who’ve had them over a decade and had very minor problems but some just seem built quite terribly

    I’ve just been given a bit of ferreting gear by a mates grandad and there’s some I presume rat nets as the mesh is very very small about an 1inch has any one every used rat nets surely they will run straight through them

    Many farmers like that now I had an old boy ring me last year asking for as many ferreting lads I know to sort his paddock out there was a few about but not massive numbers 4 of us went up and had about 25 between us we showed him and about a month later he said he’s seen loads more about and said don’t bother I’ll get someone to shoot them never heard from him again weird breed them farmers only a horse paddock and very little damage was done by the rabbits really arable land I understand but not a grazing paddock there’s a lot more to answer for low numbers than rhvd and mixy I’ve seen them

    Around 19 inch give or take can get in some surprising places and push on fairly quick it is just a bayer but won’t back down will draw most things I won’t lamp it it’s too head strong if it doesn’t catch bit of a head case really do take it out odd time doubled up for a catch but nice dog to work been an all round can take it ferreting and digging does what I want it to do

    If you go to scrap yard and get a night heater out of an old wagon as long as you can get a live feed and fuel supply does same job got one in shed and blow a lot more air out than them 24v feed don’t go blowing your selves up you will need and inverter
