To be honest with you I just asked for a bit of ferreting but by sounds of it someone is paid to control the rabbits , I’d happily swap a day moling for ferreting but that’s not on the cards but I’d like to get my foot in the door for when that time comes so I don’t want to rip them of £30 a time or is it by how many caught I reckon from looking around I’ll get 8 a time there’s not very much for the size of the place

I’ve been asked by a local farm/ golf course to catch moles I’ve done it voluntary for a long time as a trade for permission I’ve never charged does anyone know what to charge I’ve always done it for a swap of ferreting or lamping ?

I’ve just seen that one on eBay lol , I put it on for £120 testing the water but not a single bite I’ve got nothing to compare it to really and never heard of jobu before

I’ve got a soft spot for vintage chainsaws and I’ve got my hands on a Norwegian made jobu m5 these must be very rare I can find a small article on Google saying they were made for the Norwegian army in small numbers there is non listed for sale anyway very heavy and powerful saw would anyone know what is worth ? I hopefully got myself a bargain

Once I’ve got my house done and have much more spare time than I have now I’ll be looking for a few hounds maybe 3 or 4 I’m wanting to know what would suit me best will be mainly used for a gun pack and hunting up with my lurchers and terriers I’m not a complete novice my grandad had 8 or so back when I was a kid will I be better off with a hound or what people class as a bushing dog any help would be great I just don’t want to end up with the wrong pack for the work I do

A mate rang me not spoke to him in a while rang me about a month ago asking if I’d been out and was telling me he shot 30 rabbits over weekend and I asked if I could have a few and then told me he through them on muck heap at farm let’s probably say we’re not mates anymore
