    No not smaller dogs. Iam not a fan of any first x really. And unless your talking longdogs they tend too be a bit one paced for me anyway. I know its sounds like iv talked down of the dog but he was a very useful dog actually, And if you used him too his strenghs like i said you'd be hard pushed too get anything better. But he was limited when your talking alround game and wouldnt buy one in if i was after something other than a rabbiter but thats just me.

    I personally think back too a sharp coursing bitch would of made for decent alrounders BUT i honestly wouldnt of bred from him if he was mine . He only Sired one litter too a Fell/Whippet and he throw a better dog than him self IMO either that or the bitch throw a handy little sort.........?

    Mate had one yrs ago first x about 22''. Great little rabbiting dog both day and night ferreting/lamping/mooching. Would kill foxes singlehanded but that was maybe 5/10 a season so never really called a fox dog and wasnt a dog that liked getting bit so wouldnt like too have seen him on fox in any sort of numbers as i honestly think he would of lifted his head IMO. Deer wise he was the best Munty dog iv ever seen woodland/bramble/railway banking he just aways put up a good show. Any eles tho and he'd get straight lined and never did kill/catch any other speices in all his working life. And hare
