    Katchum I had rspca knock me door couple Yr ago saying they had reports I had skinny dogs ,I let him in to check my whippet and busher out and he said " they nothing wrong with them two and wish all dogs I see was like yours " and he made it clear some one had called them because they had a grudge .

    Sheepchaser I'm not one for putting folk down unless I do it to there face ,if Jeff's place that bad and dogs in a state why did they buy a pup ? They have come on here seen what was posted and jumped on band wagon. My advise to anyone putting others down is do it to there faces not on here. I have said I have seen Jeff's dogs and they look in good fettle and that's what matters , I no they a lot worse people in the lurcher game than Jeff.

    I can not put his dogs down as one's I seen have been cracking looking juckels and I see few work that I'd be happy to own ,to many back stabbers around today but lurcher world always been that way but lot worse now with key board no it alls , I say to those that put others down ,don't tell the world but tell those you chating rubbish about.

    I really don't get why you posted this ,you say his house stinks ,yard stinks ,dogs in a mess yet you buy a pup ? You say pup needed a shower ,is it the case you washed the pup as its going to be in your ever so clean house ?, and you don't want smell of a kennel bred pup on your nice clean furnishings? You need give yourself a shake ,you putting a man down and yet you still buy a pup ? Instead of posting on here after you got pup ,why didn't you tell Jeff to his face your thoughts before paying for your pup . Two faced I call it .

    I've known Jeff for yrs and yes he can talk some rubbish but so do a lot of others who put him down !!! He's stuck with the type he keeps for yrs and I've seen some belting looking animals He's bred or bred from his type and they do work and work well given the right owner . Those who say he peddles dogs just look at bedy whippets or whippets going for anything up to 2500 .and bred by so called working dog men and by some who come on here ?     A good day trev ,I've been asked to clear a small holding of coney ,rats and will be starting this weekend, it's 3 hour each way but by looks of it we'll have some fun . Atb mooch

    I can walk local farms ,paddocks all night and see a brace if I'm lucky and these same spots had good numbers ten Yr ago ,the only places with good numbers and where I can guarantee getting my dogs a run local is the crematorium .

    If my dog had a fall and couldn't stand without falling I'd have had him at the vets straight the way and get him xray . It's OK saying bone man but not everyone knows one so vets is best bet.

    It's about giving them the best chance of catching and ferreting got to be best way in my opinion ,have you got nets ? I ask because have a few I gift you if you need them ,always good to help others.

    I always start mine ferreting and soon makes them sharp ,give them few bolters .

    325 not bad but a grand and upto 1800 for bedy whippet is bang out of order ,I payed 130 for bedy grey from good working stock and he gave me 30 back for good luck and of course they lads on here selling for coin and putting others down but they got no morals ,it's no longer about the type or we'll fair of pups but bank Balance and they should be ashamed of themselves .

    Good luck ? hope you get one but I wouldn't pay the prices being asked just now by peddlers. Wait and try find a decent lad ,lass who breed to keep one and from workers .

    This x will give its best on anything, never going tobe a hare dog on open land but like you say in scrub they come into there own .
