    It's wrong mate ,if you set snares you should check them daily ,When I was a kid I'd go with me grandad and help him set wires for rabbits and hares but he'd check them early morning and again before dark and I remember he snared few foxes and those still alive was freed to run on and in his words "take there chance with the hounds " Snares are a good tool in the right hands but if you don't check them daily you have no right dropping them in first place .

    Yes mate , A old fella who lives few doors away told me he see few fallow in same spot few days ago and when he walking back they was only 2 so I'm thinking it was the fawn and it's mam. By look of the wound it had been in it for a good while , hopefully she make it .

    Of course if you going away and someone looking after your dogs kibble makes things easy for those watching them and I used to feed kibble and raw but after seeing how it's made it put me off so just feed raw with veg , My dogs look better on raw

    Csj ,chudly , artaruky,are all the same ,they all made out of the same mix but made into different size ,shape kibble .I no because I worked for company that made it and I can tell you ? perc it all came from same hopper And when I say the cheaper bags I don't mean bags of wag ,

    I stopped feeding dry when I started working for a company that makes kibble for some of the top brands and I can honestly say they fcuk all good goes into the mix , Cheap brands , expensive brands all made out the same hoppers just different brand name and different price , I used to laugh when owner of csj came to look at production,she would be walked on a set route around factory that had taken several weeks to get clean for her inspection and shown all the new machines that wasn't even producing her brand Better of with raw

    Just been across the woods and I noticed a young fallow that looked like it was tied up so got the dogs secure to a post and walked over to find the poor buggers back leg was in a snare made out of washing line and attached to top of the fence , I got her free and checked her leg ,it was bad but she standing on it so I placed over the fence and she ran off so she should be ok ,

    If dog goes in water it's probably got hot and sweaty and sore as I had that happen to one of mine ,

    Vets promote advocate because they got a deal with the maker and that's why they try palm you off with it ,it don't kill lung worm like they say that's for a fact, My runner got sore like in the pic because she was going in the brook then running about and it must have got hot ,sweaty and then sore and it cleared up ok , It don't look like mange to me

    I see it on the news and I think the police are waiting on expert to say what breed it was ,it's probably a bully type of some kind . Very sad
