Filling block walls with concrete today, while trying to keep an eye on this prick, mate said “ he’s no bother “ 10 minutes in he’s killed a pheasant and scoffed my banana, the tw*t
Another warm’un, I had the concrete gaffer watching over me while the second half of the shed floor went in, gate posts in and first layer of stone levelled ready for 100 tonne of 40mm tomorrow
Removing some boards from the inside of a barn I found a pied wagtail sitting on 5 eggs, managed to put a bit of board back up, much to the annoyance of the owner and she was soon sitting again
Deconstructed cottage pie
missus ask what I was doing for tea, I said “ cottage pie “ she said I’d rather have a mince dinner it’s the same FU*KING THING, just not put together
I’m not sure, I would of thought the problem with putting steel in is when you hit the concrete it vibrates the steel and cracks the concrete along the steel, unless it’s really thin wire, who knows, I’m just guessing
That’s not bad if you are only going to do it once in your lifetime, there must be some amount of fibre in that concrete to be able to put them in with a post knocker and not have to dig them in
I did a little horse arena a few months back and managed to get hold of some for 20 quid each, built a corner retaining wall from them, they will last forever
You are spoiled with shooting down there ? I’ve just had an invite to go out on the munty’s around Gedney, just need to get my work/ life balance in order
