    I had a pair of them french boots and they fell to bits in a year, which was a shame because their wellies are spot on, just a bit expensive, I’ve got a pair of Meindl boots now and I’ve had them about 5 years, never looked after them and they are still spot on

    They are slowly getting better, I was back at the doctors yesterday and I’ve been told not to put shoes on for the next 4 days and to use a steroid cream, she also told me to chuck my work boots away because they will be full of bacteria ? it seems to be the Astra Zeneca vaccine that’s doing the damage, the missus works with someone who has a skin condition and when she had the vaccine her skin went mental as well, it seems to send some people’s immune system mental

    Good work, I’m getting very jealous seeing people out in this weather doing what we love while I’m laid up with my manky feet

    I got myself 200 of the cci subs because the little cz shoots them very well, they have gone up 2 quid a box, were always 10 quid a 100 for as long as I can remember, some of the prices now are ridiculous especially the centrefire gear

    Yeah, they are in a right state ? I maybe shouldn’t gone out after a buck last Saturday but the pull to be out was to strong

    I feel you pain, I’m laid up now until at least next Tuesday I’ve got to get myself back to the useless doctors tomorrow, no doubt for another prescription that does fu*k all, she can refer me to a dermatologist tomorrow or I’m asking to see another doctor

    I shouldn’t laugh because I feel your pain but it’s nice to hear I’m not the only one that falls foul of a hot fence, I can strongly recommend you don’t take a piss on one, that’s a pain I’ve never felt before ??

    The night started with the collection of longshanx at about 6:45 and headed to the first farm, on arrival the old man was in the yard, shortly joined by one of his sons, we had a chat for a bit and we were pointed in the direction of a small wood with a field of oilseed rape in front of it, as we reached the edge of the rape I glassed along the edge of the wood and into a ruff bit of set aside. Within a couple of minutes two deer appeared from the wood and ran up the set aside, so we set off along one of the track in the rape towards the deer, stopping from time to time for a look about, where

    I won’t sign anyone’s as a reference, I did it once for a lad for a SGC and 4 weeks later he got a refusal and I got a visit from firearms for a spot check( could of been a coincidence but who knows) he doesn’t need anyone who has one to go as a referee when he is applying

    Nice one, I love a first light walk out, I’m taking longshanx out this evening on the hunt for a buck and if the opportunity appears maybe a fox, just hope my feet hold out, we have two farms to cover and maybe a big bit of land around our local airport ?

    Had the Astra jab, definitely the 150 quid out of pocket has caused me more pain ?

    After I sent the pictures in they said “ come down now?” all they could do is give me antibiotics and treat them like burns, I’ll be able to start using a steroid cream next week to start repairing the skin ?it’s cost me about 150 quid in prescriptions and bandages, which is not good for a northern lad

    I know it’s the right thing to do and I can handle feeling unwell for a couple of days but I can’t go through the skin thing again sod it, I’ll show you what my feet looked like last week ?

    I know Dave and people are telling me to have it but if you’d seen the pictures of my feet that I had to send to the doctor you’d understand why I’m a bit hesitant ( I can send you them if you want, put you right off your tea ?)

    My mate who I work with is going for his second one now so it’s 50/50 if he makes it to work tomorrow I was Ill the day after my first then ok but after a few days the the rash and itching started and I felt terrible, I was in bed for 3 days, my skin still isn’t right, the doctor said they don’t think it will happen with the second but I’m not sure I want to risk it
