  1. Full mortar wet bed, none of this dot business where they sound hollow when you walk on them ?
  2. More of it, I say, I charge a fortune ??
  3. Rooftop patio and sanding for the other half to be fake grass, I was meant to be putting the grass down tomorrow but forecast 28 degrees and as it reflects the heat there’s no way I’m doing it with temperatures like that
  4. It’s not about cutting out real foods, it’s finding what triggers the condition, it’s know that red meat especially beef is a contributing factor to some kinds of psoriasis, smoking was a big one for me, mine got a lot better almost as soon as I stopped, for some people stress is a trigger, not for me, if I was any more laid back I’d fall over, psoriasis isn’t an infection it’s main thing is the over production of skin cells caused by an autoimmune disorder and they think it’s triggered by your immune system fighting things it doesn’t need to, like healthy cells ?
  5. It’s recommended that you only use the steroid creams for 2 weeks at a time because of skin thinning and you build up a tolerance to its effects, that’s one of the reasons I swap and change creams so often, when I was really bad with it the doctor gave me the strongest ointment he could and told me to use it twice a day for a month because thin skin is better than no skin, there’s no point just using the steroids, you have to moisturise a lot as well, a really good one Is something called skin stuff it used to be called stinky stuff for use on dogs
  6. Diet is only a small part of it, psoriasis has a lot of triggers, I was asked to change my diet by the doctor and to cut out red meat, eggs and bread and it made no difference, stopping smoking made a big difference to me, with it been an autoimmune problem everything can affect it from what you eat to cold weather and environmental conditions, my doctor told me they still don’t fully understand it but the basics of it are somethings trigger your immune system to attack healthy cells and your body over produces skin cells ?
  7. Hopefully I can manage it now, it was pretty ruff during the shooting season, coming in off the moor after walking about 8 miles, taking my boots and socks off and leaving half my foot in them ?
  8. When I get it bad on my hands I cover my hands in cream and put latex disposable gloves on and work all day with them on, they don’t dry out and it makes a big difference, might be worth a try, even if you just do it with moisturiser
  9. I’ve never tried laser, the doctor was going to sent me to a dermatologist for steroid injections but the Xemacort and Clobaderm cleared it up after a couple of weeks, I’ve used Bentovate they all work for a bit then I have to change, my doctor will only prescribe ointments now because he said creams soak into the skin where an ointment is like vasoline and keeps it on the surface where it’s needed just for a laugh this is my right foot 7 months ago ? and now after steroid ointments, just with a bit of scaring ?
  10. I suffer from it, psoriasis and eczema are two different things, psoriasis is an immune system fault where the body produces too many skin cells, mine is pretty much under control at the minute with just a little bit on my hand and my feet, when I had the covid vaccine it sent mine mental, a doctor thought that the vaccine sent my immune system into overdrive, I’ve still got pictures of my feet I had to send to the doctor because they couldn’t see me because of the bat flu on my phone that would put you off your tea, I have to be careful what I use to get washed, moisturise like a woman and if
  11. Was it an omen saying you need to go out and put a round through a heart ??
  12. Up on the north York moors last night ?
  13. It’s been a lovely weekend just for being there, looking and enjoying where you are ?
  14. A trip up the shoot this evening to give the baited ride an hour or so, before heading over the piggeries I had a go at the crows around the farm as they are becoming a proper pain, one of them has taken to pulling the rubber off the windscreen wipers on the old girls car, they are crafty buggers and I’m sure they recognise the rifle, there’s a good half dozen of them and I managed 2 with the .17 but don’t think I got the car vandal. Once I got over the piggeries I checked the baited area, all gone, I was quite confident that something would put in an appearance, after half an hour I put the
  15. If he was close enough to me, I’d have them both at that price ??
  16. Back up on the moor after a few rabbits and my god I needed the walk out after this week, I’m really enjoying the .22 at the minute and pushing it further than I would normally, it was a modest count of 43 rabbits this evening as we spent quite a lot of time enjoying the oystercatchers, lapwing and curlews, these are the things you can enjoy when predators are controlled so up yours Packham ?
  17. These gabion’s are what they put in river banks, meter cubes, when you join them with the coils it gives you a seem of between 25/30mm, you can get bigger baskets that would give you fewer seems but this is what they wanted, it will be planted up with trailing plants and heathers in the future so it will look like one stoney wall ( some grand designs sh*t ) All the work me and my mate did on the main house on the site has just been published in “ homebuilding and renovating magazine “ this month and the buggers forgot to my name in it, just put my mates Story of my life
  18. Do you mean the way they don’t look straight in the picture? They are, they are wired together, must of been how I took the picture
  19. Getting there, ran out of the pebbles to face it with so will have to wait until Monday to be finished ?
  20. Cheers si, just ordered it, see how it goes ?
  21. A quick run up to the shoot this evening to start baiting a ride over the piggeries with some smelly stuff, my plan was to go up Saturday night to see if anything could be temped out onto the ride, I’m now having second thoughts because the flies were insane, I’m back out on the moor tomorrow night after them rabbits and I’ll definitely be bathing in jungle juice before I go out
  22. First 5 in and filled by hand, I managed to get him to go and get the proper coils to fix them together so I can put a cage together now in 5 minutes instead of 45, 4 more to go on top tomorrow then maybe make a 45 degree one to finish the end, it’s a bit to hot to be doing this and is supposed to be hotter tomorrow ?
  23. First one in, only about another 9 to do
  24. Gabion’s turned up, fu*king flat pack and with no wire coils to put them together just rolls of high tensile wire, it’s going to take me a day to put them together, he got them like this because they were cheaper, by the time he’s paid me to put them together it would of been cheaper to get the wire coils that you put in with a drill, some people are idiots and the more I do this type of stuff the more idiots I’m finding ?
