The land of milk and honey and free speech, seeing as I pay for it so you can enjoy it, you will totally accept I am entitled to an opinion: :wankerzo4: :wankerzo4: :wankerzo4:

John Our friends at Deben do 2 standard chargers, 6v/12v 500ma and 6v/12v 800ma. Both of these have the red power and green charging lamps, is this like yours? Either will charge your 18AH battery but the 800ma would be recomended, would still be a trickle charge and all being equal will still take in the order of 22 hours to fully charge a completely flat 18AH I struggle to belief that most makes of sealed lead acid rechargeable batteries are that much different, but Yuasa are rated amongst the best (and most expensive). One season from your battery does seem very little, do

You may find this one useful too! http://czowners.ipbfree.com/index.php? Trigger always take a bit of time to bed in, try mine and see what you think, if that doesn't work for you then certainly try a Brooks, http://www.rimfiremagic.co.uk/trigger_kits.html However, there are those that suggest stealing the spring from your Biro..

Help me out on this, I understood all Brocock owners became elligible for a fac on much easier terms than a conventional fac but simply for the Brocock. Do you therefore hold a FAC with any conditions attached for the Brocock or is it unconditional. I understand the Original rifles were meant to get to 12ft lb, but maybe did 9ft lb or 10ft lb if you were very lucky! Even if you could get there I would suggest Bisley Magnum at 21.4g is still a bit too heavy! I don't know it these cartridges and seals will take much more anyway! 9ft lb is still plenty to knock down a rabbit, but jus

Killing with a 12ft/lbs gun from 250 metres......

This is all somewhat beyond belief.     -
The Logan is the worst lamp you can buy , but lets put it all into perspective. It is better than nothing, and if you are after CLOSE quarry with a 12ft lb air rifle it is a cheap option, so lets be realistic ! As for rabbits going out in the rain..they hate it, just like us, most animals will keep their heads own in the cold, the wet the wind etc. Unfortunately for them though they don't have fridges, freezers and supermarkets so they are forced to go out and forage/eat after a day or two of bad weather! So you will often find the bunny out in the wet...but not me if I can avoid i

I had in the back of my mind these are 1-9 but I could well be wrong (maybe thinking about the .223). Check out http://www.edgar-brothers.co.uk/ORIGINAL_SITE/ but I don't think you will find the twist rate.... Or drop an email to admin@edgar-brothers.demon.co.uk They are usually quite good and will hopefully come straight back to you with the twist!

I don't deny I am curious!!! Best I can get is £1.00 each. What do you have to do with them, paunched, cleaned, skinned, jointed?????? Do they only take one or two occasionally, or will they take loads?

Where do you get £2 per head in Berkshire???

Well..it started off as a sort of care in the community project :whistling: , taking Mr L out on a few bits of my land. Looks like I've done a good job , I usually put him on point to give him a chance, but it's getting to the stage where he is cleaning everything up ! Last night I did indeed take him out to an area well known for the fox, and its turned out to be a filthy night weather wise, but you have seen the results! Mr L has invested in a few new toys recently and the RWS in .243 looks and feels great (seems to shoot ok too !!) Got to admit I know very little about

Help me out here as I know nothing about birds of prey...WHY do you gut them?, owls/birds of prey don't have anyone in the wild to gut them, they deal with everything!!!! 20-25 on a good night, last night 4!!!

Just back from a trip to a landowner with a fox problem, sadly no sign of charlie tonight but a handful (5) bunnies. The second was a brilliant shot at around 60 yards which sent brain matter, skull fragments, fur etc into orbit, as the 55g HP found its mark.....BUT, very strange and the first time ever for me (in several thousand bunnies) this one ran 20 feet and then dropped dead. 95% of its whole head etc was GONE, sometimes get a few twitches with this sort of damage but never had one run away before!!!

Can be useful Dawn & Dusk and if night shooting under a Full (or nearly full) moon, without a lamp. If you have a decent lamp or red filter on the lamp I can see little or no need for illuminated. Personal choice though, as with so many things scope wise!

EXCELLENT..... can we see some then????!!! Antis, time wasters and armchair ***** are also well known for leaving their profile blank and agreeing/suggesting others may be!!!

We all know beauty is in the eye of etc etc ..and the S200 is a very fine tool but, I would struggle to call it a "beauty"

I understand this was usually a 10-11ft lb gun. If you had one that made it over 11ft lb you had a good one. The basic gun has plenty of power for rats at 20 yards but as a ratting gun .22 would be best. At £20 I suspect a "service" at least could be in order and a chrono will help (many dealers will chrono for you) Just get it zeroed and give it a try on targets/softwood penetration and get an idea how it is performing!

I would have to go along with that! The CZ 452 takes a lot of flack about it's trigger (I don't think they are anywhere near as bad as most say) but the trigger of the CZ511 has got to be one of the worst I have ever used! Shame, as the rest of it is definately underated. 10/22 is the worlds favourite .22LR Semi, God knows why, as so many people buy one, take it apart, throw away all the bits and replace them with aftermarket upgrades!! Know very little about the Remington!

Good to see you are getting in some practise for Friday...200-250 yards is a long way, the range for Friday is somewhere between 450-500 yards I seem to remember, have you bought the bottle of Bubbly yet in anticipation! Any hints and tips to help us wingshooter??

He also uses, and is on THL with other names...and as well as other peoples, he has tried to screw up my THL account password and also my personal email account! A nasty piece of work who seems to revel in causing trouble and setting off arguements. He is not funny anymore, but then I suspect that is just what he is after! "wingshooter", as new member you seem to be the fountain of all knowledge and have an opinion of most things, what are your views on someone like this? Any ideas what other usernames he is using as i had a pm from a member yesterday saying they could get

So...what has the gunsmith suggested who found this disaster? Perhaps a re-bore...Hornet it .22 so try boring the barrel out to .222 or .223, and .223 ammo is cheap as well, ask the gunsmith. Sadly I doubt it's possible, Hornet is .223 or .224 depending on the age of the rifle (newer is .224) just like the other 22's, but it has lighter bullets. (generally) Mr Logic...go back to bed and get some more sleep, then come back and have another look ....clue.....

Th lightning is a cracking gun but if you took these at 30-40 yards you did well!
