  4. Don’t encourage the silly cxxt, this could be a good thread with the likes of jambalaya posting some good pics,I personally like to see what lads from Australia & the USA get upto with there dogs.
  5. Easy done, good luck with your recovery.
  6. We’re almost in March the Hares are getting frisky that’s why your more likely to see groups of them.
  7. Cheers Morton, but I don’t know why you just didn’t say this in the first place but thanks all the same.
  8. Rabbits,I’ve hunted them with dogs on pit stacks,allotments,arable & moorland,woods,river banks,lamped them,great times.
  9. Yes that’s my worry,I suppose mixing in a good quality biscuit would solve that.
  10. I know what you mean about shite chicken as me and few others used to buy it in bulk from Oldham, dogs liked it but it was poor quality, the chicken I could buy now locally is very good quality it’s not smelling slimy stuff, they also sell carcass think they were £1.20 each.
  11. I’ve terrier pup with a skin allergy of some type,I’ve been doing quite abit of searching on net etc and many are saying with a more natural diet the skin allergies have gone, biscuit would be more convenient but it would probably give me the same problems as the complete meal.
  12. I am thinking of putting my dogs on mince chicken £1.50 for 5lbs block,I don’t want to mix kibble or biscuits with it the plan is to use veg, anyone else on chicken mince & veg if so what ratio do you mix? & what veg? I’ve used this chicken in the past mixed with there regular meal,I used to boil the mince for 5 mins so it was just cooked but I see most feed it raw.
  13. The way he was nibbling his front legs you would think it was mites but he shares a kennel with 2 other dogs which aren’t nibbling.i can’t get duramitex now which is for pigeon lofts (red mites) I used to do the kennels once a year & dip the dogs in it never had any problems with mites fleas etc.
  14. Cheers blackdog, is it a liquid or tablets? How much did you give dog?.
  15. My terrier pup has red itchy skin which is making him miserable,I’ve had him to the vets and think it could have been caused by a flea bite which the pups skin has reacted to which has caused a viral infection,he’s now on antibiotics,a flea spot on from vets as they said it’s a better one than I was using,I’ve also changed his food this morning to a grain free complete salmon & potato from wainwrights,he was on James well beloved rice & turkey. My dogs sleep on tuffie beds which are cleaned regularly,my other dogs are not itching & they are all treated with virbac spot on & vi
  16. If you had the choice of a good dog Daniel with a good mouth or a bad one which would you have? I am guessing you would choose a good one? I am not saying a dog with a bad mouth can’t be a good worker but there are lots of good working dogs out there which are sound in body & mind so use one of them.
  17. A bad mouth is not a cosmetic fault as the dog will eat, drink, bite & carry things in its mouth, if the pups are born pink then that’s a cosmetic fault for most but not all !! .if it were me I wouldn’t take the risk but it’s up to you at the end of the day, all I will say is if you do sell pups make sure you tell the prospective owners of the fault.
  18. Both parents may carry the fault and we know for sure one does! Why take the risk? It would just be adding to the shite that’s already for sale.when breeding dogs there’s always the risk of a fault appearing that’s not known about but to knowingly breed from a dog that is not structurally sound is very irresponsible, find a sound stud dog.
  19. I wouldn’t it’s a daft thing to do as you will pass on this fault to another generation of dogs.
  20. Have you contacted the police as someone may be looking after him for you, good luck.
