  1. Hi BusterDog,.. This litter is almost the exact stamp that the Agro x Chimp breeding produced!...its crazy to look at 'em, they could easily be the same litter! RatKillah is back home now, im sure if you guys get out together, he'll show you a few pics of what weve been up to. All the best mate. J
  2. I wouldnt use a mill for any dog under 12 months old, but it would deffo have short stints on it to teach it how to use one...six months, a few leash walks and messing about is more than enough, sometimes to much if the pups boistrus!..lol...no ONE method will get the MOST out of a dog, imo, a mix of leash walking, free running, mills, swimming (which is TOTALY underated!) flirt and spring poles, and more...more than that, these things help to build that 'bond' that so many dogs thrive on, and you will learns LOTS about your dogs, and how they act under different situations, thus making you a
  3. Lots of advice from people who dont know much about treadmills and getting a dog fit imo....a slat or carpet mill can be a GREAT supplement to getting ANY working dog fit...you can also ruin a dog on one real easy as well,....it has NOWT to do with being lazy, and is a sign of people being closed minded...each to there own....some of the worlds finest canines are brought into peak fitness with the help of mills, but they are NOT a way of getting a dog fit buy themselves.
  4. Weve been and caught (and missed) a few Yotes with TomCat, and ive ran Yotes in many different states, and his are the hardest to catch that ive seen!...long turn outs (average id say of around 1/4 mile law for the yote) and almost all runs going over the mile mark, couple that with big, strong, hard fighting coyotes and you'll soon see what your dogs are made of!..lol. Glad your getting out mate, and i hope to get out your way again soon! Just keep all them donuts away from that boy!..lol. Love to Linda xoxox
  5. Good posts there lads! great pics and great times!...BusterDog, your welcome over ANYTIME mate, and we got gear to go at with Stags and Terriers...we even have a skinning rack made up now!...sadly, the guy we went on the mega coon hunt with, has been told a bunch of lies, buy some slimey little shit head of a weasel! I must have upset someone, because someone has told our host on that trip, that ive been posting pics of Bull dogs killing coon and gory pics (which is funny as f**k, coz i cant even post pics, nor have internet at the house!..lol) so the host (very understandably) dosnt want us t
  6. ive run Coyotes in many different states over here, and TomCats coyotes have been and still are the hardest to catch!
  7. Theres LOADS of theory behind why canines do this....imo, dogs roll in shit, because there dirty animals, just like they enjoy eating shit. Besides, its EASY to judge an animal with human sentiment, because thats a ignorant human trait. The fact that almost ALL animals like to consume or roll in some form of horrendous stinking mess, maybe WE are the strange ones!...although judging buy some of the tarts perfumes out there, maybe dogs 'aint alone in this habit?
  8. If line breeding or inbreeding (whatever you want to call it!?) is good enough for world class Greyhounds, and the worlds finest canine (Bulldogs) then its good enough for me, and that is THE very reason i'll be (and am in the process of doing) with both my running dogs AND my terriers!...IF the said dogs being used have genetic faults, then of course weird shit will show up!...if you are lucky enough, to have the time/space/money/work for this kind of project, then i feel the Pro's far outweigh the Con's!...i dont sell dogs, so i dont have to worry about that, stock is just gifted to close fr
  9. Loads of replys to this, but buy the sounds of it, little in the way of experiance...lol...bro x sis breedings can, and WILL produce VERY good animals, depending on how high the quality of the stock being used is!...just ask any succesful breeder of Bulldogs, racing pigeons etc....i know the Bull dog lads over here breed very tight, and i MEAN tight...i have two terriers on my yard that are so tightly bred, its crazy...there real nice dogs....if the brother and sister are great at there jobs, then i would make the breeding...you would be best of keeping an eye on them, any with defects should
  10. A rabbit is NOT a rodent, its a Lagomorph, although they are related.
  11. Alright mate, pups look well!,...We got Agro and Bella mated, and she is looking bigger in the belly, so we may have a few like that knocking around the yard soon!,...we will have pups out of tor next week, she looks like a hippo!..lol...Ozark Jim said to say 'howdy', and that you are welcome at his place again ANYTIME!,....he had the pins taken out of his fingers 3 days ago, but cant grip anything at all....poor f****r, but what a gamer huh!?...to think we was going to claw hammer the poor guy!..lol. Hope your well. Jay.
  12. very nice mate, hope we should have some gear on the ground like that one day!
  13. Hi Cole,.. I havent hunted with all the lads dogs that you say, so i couldnt say what there dogs are like,...im sure they have some good dogs, and im sure they have culls, just like every line of dog..ive seen MAYBE 4-5 dogs i would keep that others have owned, and some of the reasons that i wouldnt keep all the others, are not JUST because they where shit hunters,... As for numbers, ive never been a numbers man, apart from when i was getting PAID to kill large numbers back home. Honestly, i could go the Iowa, and we could easily kill 100 coons everytime we go, but i ALWAYS ask our h
  14. i had a Bobcat with a lakeland terrier that i brought over from the UK, i got it in a HUGE rock pile, and she was with it for 2 1/2hrs,...took a few diggers/jcbs/backhoe and heavy equipment, and about 20 mexicans to get her out, and she was a bit of a state when we got her out, as the cat was on a ledge and had the advantage...she was a very soft terrier though, and im convinced that a good, gritty terrier could finish one without to much fuss...
  15. Im seeing my name being dropped here and there!,..nice to be famous..lol. Im not a terrier man, never have said i was, or pretended to be,...i am a coon hunter though, and seeing as me and my team have taken over 400 this season, i think im qualified to talk a little bit about coon, although im no exspert, buy any means... i hunt coon where coon live, plain and simple, and i take them anyway i can,...yeah, we get a few under bales that are only two bales deep, just like we dig a few at 2foot in the ground....how one coon at four foot in the ground, is harder than a coon 15 foot in ha
  16. Why, when people see an 'E-Collar' on a dog, do they assume its used to MAKE a dog do something, or PUNISH the dog?...an 'E-Collar' is a training tool, just like a whistle, or a leash, or a crate,...they are not just used to shock the living shit out of a dog for doing something wrong, and if used properly, are a VERY handy tool.
  17. Patron or '1800' for me...rather pay with my wallet, not my head the next morning!..lol.
  18. Thanks for the reply Dead Game,.. Yeah, im not bothered what people do with there pups, sell them, gift them, cull them, i dont care, nor would it matter if i did care..lol...people are going to do what there going to do, and im fine with that, as long as you 'aint raping kids etc. Milo sounds a handy type, pitty he's dead...i have been lucky that i have never brought a dog from anyone over here, been gifted terriers and longdogs, even MADE coyote dogs!...im lucky i guess.
  19. Hi DeadGame,... Im just being nosey, and as i havent been to any black dog shows, or such gatherings over here, and ive never heard of the Milo dog, what has he done, that people are willing to part with $1000 for a PUP!?...i would pay $1000 for a MADE working terrier, if it worked how i like a terrier to work (having said that, if i had the money to spend a Grand on a terrier, i would be a very happy lad!..lol.) Genuinly interested, as i have always struggled to get good, let alone great terriers over here in the States,...many thanks. Kye..
  20. Been slow getting going here...had 25 head of game so far, but its VERY warm here, and we still have some crops up...just working the dogs lightly, and trying to get them fit. Kye..
  21. A good, solid feeding regime, along with proper condisioning, and plenty of work with ample time to recover is all that you should need, for any performance athlete. Supplements are pointless unless EVERYTHING else is nailed down...see plenty of lads at Gyms wanting the next "miracle-muscle-grower" when they 'aint even feeding themselves properly, and drink 10 beers a week!..lol.
  22. Gecko, your welcome back anytime mate!...great to hang out with some NORMAL lads for a week!..lol. Could have done with you tonight mate, saw 3 skunks within a mile of the house...you on the back of the truck with Bens .45 would have done just the ticket!..lol. Hope to see you again some day mate!
  23. Was a good time, cant wait to get there again next year, nice to see old friends and make some new ones.
  24. Nice job, a PERFECT size for the table that pig!... Stewie, that pig is probably older than half the rabbits in the pic, so whats the difference?...most wild rabbits will be doing VERY well if they reach 2 years old imo, most dying around 12-18 months i would think. Well done on the catch.
