Kye.. PS...got the PM and replyed mate!...
  3. When i lived in Vegas, my wifes bitch (russell) was snatched up buy a coyote, and we lived five minutes drive from Mandalay Bay!...right in town...she got tore up badly, and had to have a shit load of stiches...ive no doubt it would have killed and eaten her if i hadnt of been in the house. Also my friends have had a russell taken in Mexico buy coyotes...ive also know of coyotes attacking/killing/eating dogs upto the size of Labrodors, although not common....there have been numerous attacks and children killed buy coyotes, mostly in California, around the L.A basin area, and its loaded wi
  4. Man, i would LOVE to have a crack at them big rats!...i got some dogs here that love the water, and im sure they would be handy on them!...if im ever your way mate, it would be great to hook up for a bash at them buggers!...you been out after the badgers(usa) yet mate?... Kye,..
  5. Hi Cameron,.. Rabbiting is the sport of Kings for sure mate!...nothing better than some ferrets, nets and a dog to tag along!...there are some great guys and gals on this site, and im sure they will be more than willing to help you out if you ask mate...dont worry about what you ask, even if you think its a silly question!...you dont ask, you wont learn! Good luck for the coming season! Jay..
  6. Well S, if you get Grace bred, depending on the dog you use over here, and what he is from, dont forget to put me down for the biggest in the litter!...I would prefer a male, but i 'aint too fussy, but i like my dogs on the big side!..lol. All the best mate.. Jay..
  7. lol...your a fecking nutter S.... If only you had some Blister x Grace pups, then the yotes wouldnt have made it outta the basin!...lol. Good shit though mate...maybe get over your way sometime...i might be picking up a Rig from WY at some point, so we shall see eh?...i wont be making Loomis, this year, so that sucks. Jay..
  8. Im in the Mid-West Rolly,... We will hunt anything that we can, but the marority of our digging is on coon...im fascinated buy them, as a quarry, and an animal...i got two young ones, im rearing up, just so i can learn more about them... My dogs are on the bigger side of things to be honest,...no world beaters, but they do ok for me and my digging buddy. Kye..
  9. To be honest, ive found the best fighting coon, or the ones that give the dogs the MOST trouble is the ones around the 15-20lb mark... Possoms, you either love 'em or hate 'em!..lol. I hate digging possoms...people tell me they CAN be aggresive, ive yet to see one...complete waste of time, i dont mind digging them if i cant find nothing else, rather dig a possom than nothing...but if i have to dig more than two foot for them, im pissed off!...just like digging rabbits, only rabbits taste ok!..lol. To be honest, whenever i see possoms, i cant help seeing in my mind, a bunch of cit
  10. I feel for you guys!...honestly i do...im pround as punch to be british, but SOOOOO ashamed of what it is becoming...when all is said and done guys, you live your life, and then you die...simple. Get in what you can now...once your gone, its over!....so WHY would you live on a Prison Island!...get out, anywhere, Engalnd no longer belongs to the Indigenous, Natives of the once great land....think of your kids!...im serious. When i go out digging/hunting, i wave at passing buy cars, they wave back...you dont LOOK for permission to hunt, you just ASK, and you GET!...you can lead a gr
  11. I heard that the guys got it with a yappy "two foot up the pipe" kinda dog and the poor thing just sat there and stayed put...coon 'aint dumb, they will happily sit there and let you dig them with 'yappers'...no wild animal WANTS confrontaision with a dog...as ive said before, if you want to see the BEST (or worst!..lol.) from a coon, you gotta dig 'em with 'up and at 'em' types simple as that!...to dig them with yappers that bark at them from 10" away is an insult to the creature imo...i liken it to shooting jack rabbits, anyone can shoot a jack rabbit, but not many dogs can do one single han
  12. Have you got a link for that on You Tube mate!?... When i lived back in England, i went out with this lad in Glos, and he had a male and female pure Borzoi...to be honest, i thought they was gonna be shite, but they killed a fair amount of tackle, and killed everything in a impressive manner...gear with teeth as well...i liked them alot to be honest. Kye..
  13. I completly agree with Socks...Collie X's are GREAT dogs Rory, but imo, they are NOT for a younger lad starting out...if i was you mate, and mainly after rabbits in smaller fields, then i would go for a Beddie X Greyhound, probably a dog...should make around 22-24"...be a great hunting/mooching/ferreting/lamping kinda dog...then in the future, if you wanna try your dog at working with the gun, and retreaving fox, or tracking bigger game, the dog could prove itself handy at that as well!...Beddie X Whippets are great dogs, but i would go for the cross to the Greyhound mate... The ones ive
  14. Some lads in a slightly western state got a 47lber...looked like a bear cub! I agree with Rolly,...a SMALL, and HARD dog, will get 'proper fecked' buy a coon in no short time...if there small, they HAVE to bay or they will pay the price, simple...also, from what ive seen over here, some people have called a dog 'hard' when i would have just called it a good bayer/mixer type!... Yeah you CAN dig big coon (30lbs+) with small terriers, but NOT with small and hard terriers... Kye..
  15. Jesus Si, if i had let myself go and looked like that, i wouldnt be having pics on the net!..lol. I dont know im geneticly capable of looking like that!?..lol...not far off though!... Jay.
  16. If its the guys dog, on his permission, and he is taking game humanly, then thats up to him...people can have an opinion, and do as they like, surly?... Best ive had over here is 12 hares, and 17 rabbits, and 3 Gray Fox on an Indian Reservation...that was with my male Staghound when he was about 20 months...a great night. Kye..
  17. Bump for Simoman, and Bill88...i think you guys wanted to see these pics, when we talked in chat!?..
  18. If i looked like the guy in the picks, i'd fecking hang myself!..lol. I would breed them RatKillah, but theres two problems, one being bigger than the other... 1)There from the same litter. 2)There BOTH female!..lol. They are great fun, but feck me, they was dirty as hell when they was younger!...shit everywhere!...i got them on solids now, and got cat litter in with them, so they are ok now...although they get the litter tray stuff stuck on there paws, and then climb on the bars, and it goes everywhere over the wooden floor!..lol. RK, can you remember Tiffs old as dirt loo
  19. That IS my house, and that IS my raccoon, but there sure as hell 'aint ME!...FR your a c**t!..lmao...i wonder if the Loaf got any hot dates from them pictures!?..lol. Man, you even got all my steroids in that pic, ontop of the fridge!...lol. They are putting the weight on, now that there on solids. Kye..
  20. Two Raccoons (about 9 weeks old) and a Tarantula, that some lady gave to us in a jamjar at a dog show in Califonia...had the bloody thing about 3 years, and it hibernates every winter! Kye,..
  21. If all you want is a bushing dog mate, i would go with a Plummer,...they have great noses, and hunt VERY well!...great for rats and rabbits, and they can be taught to retreave with a little work...some may go to ground, so be careful, but if i was wanting an all out bushing type of dog, then i would go for a Plummer everytime!.. Kye,..
  22. Ive had Genital Herpes for two weeks,...Oh, sorry, wrong thread!..lol. I would say this on the subject though!.. I know guys who have had terriers/lurchers for many, many years, and they still know f**k all about 'em... Just like i know lads that have been in it five years, and take an incredable amount of game, if they told folks about it, they wouldnt beleave it!... Just OWNING them dosnt mean much i think...the amount of work given to them, and the level of stockmanship, general care, feeding etc, all counts on what a good dog person should know, as well as the hunting
  23. I think the right Bull blood added to the right type of terrier is good, but a half cross is too much...if the Bull is of the right sort, then you dont need that much, i would think a 1/4 or less would be more than enough... Some of the BEST finding dogs ive seen have been Bull blooded, both Lurchers, and Terriers...the Bull is NOT famed for its scenting ability, but the drive/desire/prey drive, whatever you want to call it, can make them VERY good finders imo...they want that combat, they want to meat there mortal enemy so BAD, they search like crazy, if that makes sense...you have to us
  24. I thought about trying to get a good border for coons over here, and i realy like the ones ive seen...most if not all where going buy the time they was 12 months, if they hadnt been dug to buy then, it was because they was being held back, to make sure they was mentaly ready.. What put me off was that a coon can feck up a dog fairly badly with its feet/paws/hands, and we have had some bad damage one 'normal' muzzeld dogs, so the shorter face of the Boder wouldnt be great for coons i dont think, not if they worked how the ones ive seen worked anyway...they was gritty dogs and always took s
  25. Thanks SG,...its bright as feck now, just waiting for the crops to come down realy....then the fun begins!...realy looking forward to this season! Many thanks.. J..
