Guys, the dogs i have are far from SMALL, i have one male at 16" and 23lbs, and his son, which is 17" and 30lbs...ive seen dogs from more recent Stevens gear, and they are smaller, and Nick himself didnt like a bigger dog...nothing wrong with that, and i am NOT saying the guy dosnt know terriers, anyone who does/would, would be a fool!!!.... RK, you can put any pics of my dogs up mate...i cant speak for FR though... The dogs i have are not hard...just good bayer/mixers, but the bigger black dog is not one to get smashed...it was his first season (just gone) and so i worked him light.

Ah, ok Busterdog, got yah mate!...yeah, Nuttal does seem to have bred them smaller for some of the lads over here, but there seems to be some real nice dogs outta Nuttal gear over here!...i got my first 'American bred' digging terrier not long ago, and it was bred buy lads that cull VERY hard, and work there dogs harder, and i beleave he is mostly Nuttal stuff...he is smaller, around 12" and 16lbs at the moment, but he is only 6 months...love the little guy, FULL of himself, and a great character! There are still people who have pure Stevens stuff,...they are good terriers,...some are culls, and some are good, just like any line,...some are harder, some are bayers...Stevens favoured a bayer anyway,...one things for sure, the dogs that ive seen from this line that do make the grade, are stayers!...i think the dogs got a little small compared to the older stuff in the end, but there you go... We HAVE to use a vehicle where we are, unless you want to only get one or two head of game...and i wouldnt want to walk far carrying three raccoons that weight around 20lbs each!..lol...we travel upto 200 miles some nights... Kye..

Thanks Si,...f*****g 28 years old!...time FLYS!... I went out Monday with some lads from work (we all work fridays) and got shit-faced...a combo of strongbow, jager, whiskey and cheap red wine!...i woke up tuesday morning, and them fuckers had drawn dicks, nut-sacks, and tits all over me!...in Sharpie!...took ages to get off!..lol. Hi Indiana,.. No worries mate, im not fussed...my mate has a Bull terrier he wants to try on a yote...it was his first season on coon and feral cats, the season just passed, and he done well...he will travel an earth or pipe well for a Bull as well...i also have a 30lbs Fell terrier i would like to try...he is a big lad, and he has also just finished his first season...he done ok on possom, and coon...he is not a hard kind of dog, and he isnt bred outta hard stuff, so it would be interesting to see what happens...i wish he had a little more grit, kinda silly having a 30lb dog that bays al

Thanks Dan, that is a VERY kind offer mate,...i will have to wait until next season now though, if thats ok?...my dogs 'aint done much for a while, and are kinda fat and lazy at the moment!...they will probably show me up anyway, so i would atleast want them in the best shape possible, so i dont look so bad...better to have fit, shit dogs, than fat and lazy shit dogs right!?..lol. I will definatly take you up on the offer though mate, as i have been REALY struggling to get on the yotes in my area!...we have a subura that i use, thats a cool vehical for what we do, and cheap to run!..lol.

Dan, you make a VERY interesting point there mate...people seem happy to 'make-do' with some things...like some guys will use pure greyhounds to run a yote down, get him to turn and fight, then use bigger dogs to kill him etc...imo, if there are dogs out there that CAN do the job, either single handed, or, at the most, doubled-up, then why not just concentrate on using them in the gene pool!?...my dogs havent been on that many yotes, but the ones that they have been on, they done well...i think they will be good dogs once i have a rig, and if Hoss1 is able to tolerate me, i will run out to his

Just wanted to mentin that i have a pup from Doc, and it will be used on everything, and as a 'Lurcher' more than just a 'aim and fire' type of dog...it will be out at night, used with terriers, bushing, coursing etc...it will see a bunch of different game as well...at the moment she is around eight weeks old i think, and already 20lbs...should be a good size for what i want her for!...i already have enough speed to spare with my staghounds, so a little more power, and strength, and a little summat different... I havent seen one episode yet mate...we dont have TV at the house anymore, and i work wednesday nights (when its on here)...im gonna guess that the UK boys, on average will have better stand up, and the USA lads will have better ground game...imo, heart goes to the British lads, skill to the Americans. 800 in ONE tryout mate...they have numerous tryouts, all over the country...they average 500-600 people here, but Chicago is in the middle of the country, so probably not the best one to go too!..lol. It was alot of waiting around...then we had to do a submission match, if you get past that, you go onto do some bag work, if you get past that you have a personality interview... To be honest, all the guys that got through when i was there, came from big camps, and had fiends that where 'Names'...a bunch of fighters that are already are with the UFC where there with friends, training bu

I flew to Chicago to try out for this series!...there was 800 guys showed up, the biggest try out they have ever had...i got down to the last 100 guys...never seen so many 'roided out lads in one place!...lol. Joe Silva (UFC matchmaker) said if i would have gone to the try outs in the UK i would of been in for sure, as they only had 200 lads show up!...next time they have try outs in the UK, i will use it as an exscuse the fly home and try out...he said most of teh lads back home didnt knwo how to cut weight, and most of the guys that wanted to try out for 185lbs, should have been 155lber
