    Next time i will shut my f*****g gob. Tried to give the lad a tip or two only to get f****d off by you. If i wanted to write an essay i would have done, but i didnt. Seeing as your the f*****g oracle of wisdom when it comes to rats why dont you oversee this section and we will all bathe in your wisdom.

    Rats are not that fussy and are not like mice at all. Getting the poison into the holes will be more important than what anti coagulant to use. If your not sure get any rat "poison" from the shop but get it actually into where the rats are, they will eat it better this way.

    Ive only ever used them in the holes themselves, so not sure about settting them for rabbits anywhere else but legally you will need to put them in a tunnel mate.

    Thinking of getting a food dryer to store produce easier throughout the year. Anyone tried it? I know you can store fungi but what about veg , fruit etc Would love some feedback please as im not sure whether it would be worthwhile as they are awfully expensive.

    Get john b's book from on here. Its got loads of great plans written down and with pics too. A great book that is highly recommended. Will save you a fortune!

    Ive just found out its a single shot, been out twice only. Its one where you fill it with a divers bottle or pump but this is not included. Would you give me a more precise figure now? i can purchase this if i want but want to know what it should be selling at. Thanks (again)

    I just cant seem to find that problem and its driving me nuts. They get quality food as im now giving them the choice layer feed mixed with layer pellets. They have clean water and ive even put some sawdust in their nestboxes now in case the straw was too rough for their arses!! Ive got traps and bait down for rats so they are virtually non existant yet im still averaging 2 eggs and its feckin june! i should be fecking egg bound by now!

    I dont know what an s400 is but ive got a stinger on my rimmy and its ok. It has a beam that covers around 30 yards well, 50 yards poorly, depends on what you are shooting with. I got it because i was having trouble getting someone to come lamping with me so i needed to go alone. For the price, its worth it imo.

    How much grit do they get and do and how do you feed them eg 2 times aday or is there food in front of them all day?? I give them plenty grit, is this an issue and in what way? also, i feed them only once, but usually find there are still a little left the next day in their troughs so they arent going hungry.

    The hens are only young mate, i got them as they had just started laying. 1 egg today!!!! 1 feckin egg!

    My chucks arent doing too well, ive 3 lightsussex and 3 marans, but, even though i did get a full house (6 eggs) one morning i am averaging 3 still, sometimes 2 even. I was feeding them a bit of bread and scraps but now only laying pellets and corn but its still not great. Cant find any evidence of rats either. Plus one of my light sussex has gone broody! Every time i go in she is sat on an egg. suggestions for upping my egg rate ??

    Game bag mate. I shoot some, take them back to the car usually, then set off again, or if im going in one direction and coming back the same way i will sit them on walls where i remember they will be and i know i will pass.

    As far as im aware this is the only way to make the trap more sensitive. There are other ways to get a better and more efficient kill but for sensitivity you need to bend this. Ive never had this problem, guessing they are low quality traps. You could do what stubby says and heat it, but if you are using long nosed pliers it really shouldnt snap.

    Well i feel sorry for him. There are plenty young lads on this forum who it could have been. He made a mistake and learnt the hard way.

    What a prick! I cant believe that he would refuse to sell you mounts because you asked for a discount! I always ask as im a right cheeky git but have never been spoken to like that. I would have seriously thought about ramming the scopes up his jacksy!

    Im seriously thinking of getting some more hens to go with the six i have though i read its not good to introduce extra hens to an already stable environment. Is this right? would it not be a good idea to just to go out and buy another 4 or 6 and put them in with the others.

    If your new to pest control then personally i would avoid ficam, its a strong bugger! Coopex powder is good!
