  1. If it was that easy id be a millionaire living in vegas right now!
  2. Im selling purse nets i made from a longnet. I made these and put a little extra thought into them. High-vis yellow drawcord, hardwood pegs have been drilled too. They are around 4ft long and made from 12oz nylon so they handle and dont tangle like hemp but dont rot. £3 each posted. Can make as many as neccessary.
  3. Just tried this and its good, dont throw out the pumpkin seeds when you carve the kids pumpkins. Collect the seeds and rinse them. Put them in a pan of water along with a level tablespoon of salt and bring to boil then simmer for 10 mins Drain them Put them in a roasting dish with a drizle of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt and pepper Cook for about 15 mins in an oven pre-heated to 200c or until starting to brown Thats it, and real tasty!
  4. Disposing of them is up to the landowner in a way. If he wants to see what you caught you can either bag them up and take them round to him, or hang them on a fence for him to see when he drives past. The latter is pretty victorian and unpleasant to the eye but its sometimes requested, it also lets thieves know that there are mole traps active which could heighten the risk of trap theft. Other than that, you can put them back in the earth where you caught them.
  5. I use a crossman co2 pistol too. Looks more professional than a rifle as well.
  6. I will vote conservative, just as before. I do agree with certain points that the BNP are pushing, we do need some form of limit on immigration. I dont believe that all followers of islam despise "infidels" just as i dont believe that all catholics are IRA supporters, but i do think of islam as an evil religion. But, i wouldnt vote for the BNP in a general election.
  7. Its that time of year again. Anyone got any ideas what to do with them? i dont want to waste the flesh like i have previously. Im pretty sure the yanks eat them regular.

I read your post as quick as i could, he is bound to delete it!
  9. I havent used them yet. They look real good, very powerful for such a small trap but even though ive setting loads of traps this last few days i havent tried them. I will let you know when i do, it should be this week.
  10. I do school grounds and sports pitches, where i used to get a lot pinched, obviously they saw the markers. Now i limit the school fields to setting 5 traps on friday, checking saturday and collecting sunday. I dont mark them either, i just cut out the sod and sit it next to the trap, you can still see it easy enough because you know what your looking for and roughly where, but the potential thief cant see any markers so ignores the area. On sports pitches i sometimes use sheep marker spray, this is good as you can see the traps when on top of them but from a distance again , no marker standin
  11. Selling my double hutch and hob ferret. This is a great ferret, top worker, and doesnt bite! Jill has sadly died now and he isnt getting the work he deserves. I wont sell to just anyone, working home only! £40 or nearest offer. Good working home more important than money.
  12. Still available. Im more interested in the good home than the money so open to offer if your genuinelly skint.
  13. Its not possible to "move them on" succesfully, you need to catch them, its as simple as that. How many traps are you using and how big is the land? Is it grassland, crops or something else? You need a proffesional mole trapper.
  14. Anyone know of any anti-virus software i can download for free? cheers trappa
  15. WOW. Strange mate, but i believe you. I was out squirrel hawking once and the hawk nearly caught a chipmunk. Not in the panther league but plenty didnt believe me.
  16. I had an old fiesta van that i ran on it and it gave more mpg than diesel but the van was only worth a couple of hundred at the time plus oil was pennies then. Now ive got a smart van and oil is considerably dearer than it was so im not going to bother personally just yet.
  17. Volcano cooker arrived this morning. Well packaged and speedily delivered. Many thanks, credit to THL

    Bit of advice

I would personally advise a fhh. often people who start with a mhh will trade after a year or so as they want a bigger bird to catch larger rabbits and other quarry so it makes sense to start with a female imo.
  19. What book was it? there are some good books out there for new starters. you need to read as much as possible.
  20. i will take the volcano cooker mate.
  21. Well in that case get off your computer and knock on someones door instead of sat there typing away to people! good answer crappa, now hurry up back to farmville before your strawberries wilt Lol.

    Purse nets

Photo up. They arent the best nets in the world, but i tried to make a net i was happy with. Hi-vis, plenty cord left to wrap them up, non-tangle nylon.
