    If anyone is planning a litter in the future, well tested, strong, but can run type. To be run on foot on big open land with plenty of both non edible and edible quarry id appreciate being let know. Mainly looking for just bull and grey in the mix, a bull x that looks like a bull x and works like one.

    No one is trying to be rude. You can breed from your dog as soon as you like if you can find someone willing to use him, he will probably line a bitch by 7/8 months at a push. However what folk are trying to point out is you’re on a working dog forum and most working dog folk like to have their dogs do some work and prove their worth before using them for breeding. Not all working bred dogs work well, just like not all race bred dogs are any good.

    This is why “The Hunting Life” is so great. A lad goes out, goes hunting and catches a bunch. Lots of people tell him all of the reasons he shouldn’t have gone out and why they didn’t go out and what terrible things could happen if he goes out again. ?

    Three young uns on are once, any particular reason? Just curious. Taking a guess it’s either just unlucky timing or you decided to get one of each type straight off? Edited to add - sounds like they are doing well given they were only pups at start of the summer, with all this hot weather and hard ground you’ve done well to get a good bit caught by three dogs that age by this point.

    You may we’ll be right. My issues are these mystery men who are talking about me, and the fact he’s putting stuff on here that he’s seen elsewhere (you know where). My only point originally is he seems obsessed with how crooked the coursing world is, and I simply pointed out, most of us have feck all to do with big time coursing.

    Genuine question...... ask the guy you know did I have one of my dogs with me? Because I very much doubt it. Like I said I speak to / go out with / trust very very few folk, nearly all who I’ve known ten years or more and don’t take this the wrong way, I know for a fact would have f**k all to do with you. So I think it highly unlikely that anyone you ‘know’ actually ‘knows’ me. You need to be careful what you listen to. I will get hold of you and I will come and have a couple runs and we will see if we can sort it out without all of the bullshit and the drama. One last thing - p

    You do know that there is a big big world of running dogs outside of coursing. Coursing, coursing dogs and coursing folk is all you ever talk about. Most folk into running dogs, never been to the fens, never matched a dog etc

    Don’t take this the wrong way and please don’t take offence...... but you don’t half talk some nonsense sometimes. You say that “most people in the Lurcher game and on here are money orientated” - how do you work that one out ? I would imagine that very few to no people on here have ever sold or bought a Lurcher for thousands (unless some extremely sought after coursing dog maybe), I bet nearly everyone on here has got the pups they run either fir free or less than 500 quid. If you want a pet Lurcher, you can walk into any rescue centre in the country and pick one up for very little. So t
