    A good bull x is worth its weight in gold to the man that runs it but also a good saluki grey is exactly the same don't know why everyone arguing as long as they do job the owner wants them too.And a run saluki x as they suit me but a also like to see gd bull x on at there job just enjoy your dogs lads.

    How many runs and for what length of time would you get out your bull x and is this alternative runs or just out with 1 dog ?

    Wax,J-Cloth or Cellophane for me shredded paper what available at the minute very dusty and it's hard to find good straw plus straw very messy.

    You bred off a bitch that was 2 years old and had not killed nothing then passed her on so in everyone's eyes on here you only bred her for money,and you said you were selling all dogs as did not have time due to work etc now your asking for a stud dog look at it from everyone else's view don't look good.

    Lads still running now have not been educated properly and it's only going to get worse as the younger generation think it's ok to run all year round,the game is shafted now because of people like this it all boils down to no respect for quarry landowners or there dogs boils my piss.A understand if a vixen with cubs causing problems on someone's permission you have to deal with them, but a think everything should be left to breed then you reap the rewards next season just what a think.

    No sometimes they can't get to there quarry and you need to give them a bit of a hand but I would rather have a big 1 that tried than a little 1 that never.Am no digging expert at all but by chance I have ended up with an above average terrier he been dug to in drains,tight rabbity places all season and sometimes he ain't been up to his quarry but we always got the result in the end and it was not for want trying he was not upto them.

    Hat off to you,reading your posts you certainly put the graft in front of your dogs and tested them best of luck and enjoy your retirement lol hopefully there might be a book about your dogs and days and nights out you have had.

    Off reading your threads and looking at condition of dogs it's a shame your down scaling what you do but like you say if you can't do pup justice it won't ever reach its true potential and that ain't far on the dog.You certainly seem to test your hounds its shame the way lurcher game turning out as lot lads who go about it properly dropping out game too. Hopefully we get to read about pups as they start there working life etc.

    A lost lurcher pup to this 2 year ago fully jabbed up was 7 month old had him at parents farm in field with greyhound pups he took bad so took him to vets they said set in too much so pts all working dogs or even pet dogs exposed to were rats are need the new vac, different strains for different parts country.The dog a lost was in field with litter mate next paddock over 4 greyhound pups month younger all others fine just unlucky for him he picked it up.
