  1. He did try 3 years ago but got stabbed in the back by his dashingly handsome running mate gove, ??
  2. My next and last motor, the modern equivalent to the moggy 1000
  3. That’s because it’s another pile of Euro shite, a mate bought one from new, had 3 new Ecu,s whilst it was still under warranty and scrapped as soon as the warranty ran out, even the new transits now run a french engine, 5 year life disposable motors ?
  4. I just say I’m doing multi drop delivery ???
  5. It has a compressor built in between the chassis rails so is actually much better than a standard one due to the extra weight sat over the rear axles, I’ve turned it over twice but never been stuck even on its side in a ditch it will crawl it’s way out, have left a few of those things with the massive wheels and lift kits stuck in the shit and just chugged on past, I’m a bit gutted to be selling it but my plans to move on are coming together a bit quick and I need the space and the shillings at the moment more than I need a land rover but I recon I,ll regret selling it for the rest of my days
  6. Come on rusty you,ll be putting up pictures of your first kill site soon, I know your nibbling get out there and start searching, it’s the start of sept now which for me seems to be when they revert from the small and young prey foods to the larger stuff, I will hope to find a few bigger prey items between now and may, be really nice if one of you found something, I also take note of any road kill and if it disappears overnight have a look behind the nearsest hedge or patch of cover, easiest visual signs are animals being skinned out ribs cut close to spine and a rumin bag laying nearby, if yo
  7. Cover your number plate mate
  8. Think that’s more to do with geographical location and import costs, I no lads making serious money taking old land rovers over in shipping containers, as I,ve said before despite some disagrement Land Rover is just cheap Chinese tat with a shit french power plant a real land rover never dies mines 45 year old and every time I need it it just fires up and gets the job done, and everything can be fixed at the roadside even change pistons in the gutter no problem
  9. Mine shat it’s self, the terriers did not seem to take much notice, but my runner who always wants to be 50 ft in front was almost crawling up my side tail tucked between its legs and not with it at all, years back two lads I know slipped on one this was in the day when everything was fair game and the dogs we’re capable of taking everything they ran it on sight but as soon as they were close they turned back and behaved the same, there are a few people on the podcast that had a dog with them in some cases it seems the dog is what they are interested in, has your dog gone a bit strange on you
  10. Couple more episodes on for anyone listening ? particularly like Gordon the sheep farmers story ?
  11. Josie wells an all time Clint great
  12. There are loads of cases of people who have come forward and admitted releasing them even the previous owner of Dartmoor zoo ?if it was jet black you saw a melonistic leopard, panther is a name that covers any large black cat, they are still out there just learned to avoid us better than the original pet ones that were being seen by everyone on places like Bodmin
  13. There was a shop near me like that many years back and you could walk in there and sell him anything no interest in were it came from as long as it was clean and not damaged by the dogs, roll forward 30 odd years and it became a fishmonger, he tried selling live crayfish an alien invasive species that is doing untold harm to our waterways, he ended up shutting down because of the fucktards walking up and down with sandwich boards on calling him a murderer, it was a constant source of interest as a kid seeing all the game hanging up outside ??
  14. It’s how squirrels and deer do so much damage mate ??
  15. I was out lamping a lot during the 80s and almost everyone I knew had seen one including one of my best mates who was waiting for me on the edge of a quarry and he watched a lynx make its way down the rock face it could, not run away and took about 15 mins to get down there was a line of paw prints across the floor of the quarry but never saw it myself another two lads I no slipped dogs on one but they did not want to no once they made up some ground and got a sniff of it, funnily they wouldn’t run again that night and just refused to leave there side, I never actually saw my first one until 2
  16. Have a little listen to the podcast I,ve put up mate your sighting is pretty much normal, your eyes no what you saw but your brain won’t allow it to register ?
  17. Oh I hope so, would really love a good period of prolonged snow around a month would be great
  18. Had a simular situation to yours many years back on a boundary line and discovered that though the dick next door owned the tree, I owned anything that crossed the boundary line as in roots and branch,s so a quick trench along the said boundary with all roots cut cleanly to the line and all branch’s above ground also trimmed right back to the boundary line , strangely during the next windy night the whole tree fell across his lawn????
  19. Grouse shooting is something that will probably never enter my life and if I stepped onto a grouse moor I would expect an arse full of pellets, but I do think all folk with an interest in any type of countryside sports or activity should start to stick together as you will all be picked off one by one soon enough, I have nothing to gain or loose, but I will sign as many of these types of things as I can to support those for who it’s a way of life and just for the simple fact that people should let there own morals decide what they do in there spare time, so that’s a plus 2 ?
  20. Pinged means you set off an anpr alarm in the police car, but as you are obviously the only owner from new I very much doubt it, the type of stuff I drive tends to get pinged quite a bit depending on how naughty the people I,ve bought it off have been, once your car has been involved in anything naughty or you are a known person of interest you have your details fed into a computer that is fitted to most police vehicles and every time you pass one they get a ping which tells them to stop you
  21. Peel a ring of bark from the trunk as long as it’s a full circle the tree will die but would be rather obvious, copper nails driven into the trunk is the discreet way to do it, or get someone else to do it when you are in a room full of people and deny any knowledge ??
