These hares leave this wood every morning but it’s a first for me as well, am also seeing loads more rabbits living entirely in the woods and never venturing out onto the fields

I no a dog walker that walks a massively overweight short haired pointer in a local wood it has caught 3 roe all of which have just run into a chain link fence, I was told but have never researched to find out if it’s true that roe have a gland in there feet that leaves a scent as they walk and they use these scent trails to navigate when they are moving around if they get chased off these known routes they go into a bit of a panic, it makes sense and would explain a lot of there mental behaviour ???

Only a school day if you learn something mate, all I,ve learnt is they seem to have stuck another useless filter on newer motors but what does it do, all my motors just vent through a pipe that is located inside the filler cap and runs alongside the pipe the fuel goes down hence the hissing noise when you break the seal and open the fuel cap, the small pipe that is attached to the lid looks to me like it’s an overflow pipe if the system gets over pressured so if it is venting the fuel what happens if it does over pressure does it let fuel out onto a hot engine, if so wtf, are there any modern

The newest motor I have ever owned is 2002 and I do all my own repairs have never come across it, does that go on diesel or petrol motors or both, anything that feeds more than fresh air into an engine is just designed to cause early engine failure in my mind and I remove them all, though as motors get newer I feel more alienated by them, 3 best engines in my mind in no particular order are the British built A series in its many forms, the ford 2.0 pinto and for diesels the best of all the banana manifold 2.5 DI as used in earlier transits after that it’s all down hill

Have never owned a vehicle that required a charcoal canister wtf is that all about?? I actually thought it was a joke when someone said it earlier in the thread, if I owned a vehicle with that on I would need to no what it was and if it was needed or just another add on designed to f**k your Motor up like dpf, filters and erg valves if it was it would be off and in the bin like the other two, one last question why does a solid like charcoal require two fluid carrying pipes coming off the reservoir ???

DC Looking at the flora I,m guessing you were abroad mate, ?? The cat report mentioned above has been on going for a while and whilst the witness has got a little bit excited describing the size of the cat and the wound on the dog that is more likely to be a scratch from something in the woods it ran past whilst chasing the alleged cat, but what she does not know is that quite a few other people totally independent of her have come forward with reports of seeing a big cat in the same wood, so possibly some truth in it ??

What a bunch of fanny,s it clearly is a fluid tank , take the lid off and if a red fluid is inside I would suggest power steering res, if not just follow the pipe to what it’s attached to ??

Have had most makes of soft walking boots berghause, merril, high tech, north face etc and the best ones by far were called scarpa I think, got them from go outdoors, I tend to kill a pair most winters but they lasted me nearly 3 years, as a quick aside, how the f**k can anyone make a pair of walking boots last 10 years especially hi techs unless you walk on your hands ???

I,m not a veterinary professional, and just buy it on line, it’s a bit like you taking an ibruprofin when your a bit stiff and ache, I also use calpaul the kids medicine seems to do much the same thing,

Bit of a b*****d to skin but tastes a little bit like a lamb/pork combo, there is a butcher near me that sells them, I think the restaurants have another name for them, a bit like rock salmon for doggies, ???

Nice one mate had a stalk on one myself yesterday but still a lot of leafs making it hard to get good shot, plus I was in the local park ??agree with you regarding the 8mm, it’s getting a bit like the 177 v 22 air gun debate, the YouTube names who seem to be driving it have the advantage of editing out the runners so it looks a lot more successful, would only go down that small if I was using lead but I,m going the other way and thinking about getting back on the nuts as they do so much more damage only takes a couple of hits to cut cans in half with them were as steel balls take 6/10 shots f

I would think so, but would also show up the domestic cats dna as well, so you would no it was a hybrid, I think that’s how it works ?

I do a few boats as well as cars so you can’t just let the oil out the bottom, as oil in water is a big no no amongst the boating community, I was a little dubious at first but they do seem to suck out every last drop

Funnily enough it’s the reason old breeds like the Gloucester old spot are making a come back, as those modern pink naked bacon producing ones don’t have a nice fat face, don’t know if it’s just a local thing but round here they call them bath chaps in restarauntss and very nice they are to

If you have a cat at home it leaves a lot of hair in it’s bed think the hair from the caravan was dna,d and confirmed, leopards come in a variety of shapes and sizes as there are 16 sub species from the tiny clouded leopards upto the normal sizes, they have developed and evolved to live in almost every environment on earth, but are not anything like a lion or jaguar in size, ?
