I envy everyone of you when I see open fields and woodland behind your houses, I cant wait to get moved and one of the main reasons is just being able to walk out my door without having to put the dogs on leads, jump in the van and drive a couple of miles just to have a walk in the open ???

A farm I walk on has a wood of a 1000 acres in the middle of it, I can spend all day walking and still be on the same farm ?

Agree mate that’s why I make me own, find a lot of the shop bought stuff to short, I don’t pull back as far as the Americans do, that’s called a full butterfly but I like to pull back behind my head, my flats I cut at 30cm and the looped tubes are cut at 45cm ?

I find with them tubes they work better for me with a loop at the fork end and single at the pouch end, think you can see what I mean on some of these ones, if you don’t like them doubled give it a go mate and if you need any close up pics let me no ?

I think one of the problems of growing old is we forget or deny, what we were like when we were young, I lived on an inner city council estate growing up, but I could buy an air rifle in mums club book, no one to teach you what was right or wrong, fair or fowl , so at that stage of life even a blue tit taking the cream off the milk on the neighbours milk was fair game, much as I hate to admit it I,ve probably shot most song birds over my youth either with a catty or air gun, then when one of your mates past there test and got wheels it was straight out of town hanging out the windows and sunro

Think if memory serves he was very much about the Guinness book of record type of achievements, my mate was boxing at the time, had a gym and was into his extreme fitness so paddy used to come down quite regular before his record attempts and train with him, I,m assuming it’s the same dude I would have been in my 20s at the time and he was a simular age, so guess he’d be mid to late 50s now, recon he would have given born,s man crush a run for his money and he had cotton shorts ?

I think it’s amazing what the old boy has achieved I also find it sad that the nhs needs this kind of help, when every working person is paying NI contributions, if they stopped people using the service that have just got off the plane and contributed nothing we might not need a hundred year old war vet to bail them out
