It’s softer than gold, but I can draw it back 1.5 meters so it seems to fly as well, goes through tin cans and plastic bottles ok so should have enough whack to kill with, I get thereband from the physio at the hospital so think it’s all originated from the exercise market, it’s just finding which ones are suitable for Catty,s . I find upto about 3/4 grown they will fall for a trap baited with peanut butter after that they are seriously smart and I normally just shoot them on the bird feeders with my air rifle,

Using some Pilate bands at the moment comes in a loop like a big elastic band, just cut it with scissors and split it along the middle with your roller cutter the bands are 50mm wide so you get 2 lengths of 25mm, have tried a few different ones, latex free don’t work very well, but these red ones I have at the moment are really nice,

Easier if your passenger just holds the door open as you pass them, knocks them clean out of harms way, they shout a lot at first, but it’s much safer in the hedge than under the van ??

Got in the van this morning had some running round to do, I first thought the van had been broken into because the contents of the dash were all over the front seat, then noticed an aerosol of gold paint has exploded in the heat cracked my windscreen, emptied the dash and decorated my cab gold ??

Nothing at all mate have done a few and they work well, I can band it up and pass it on to a youngster for you if you want, I give as many as I can to kids as I hate seeing the iPad/phone zombies they are turning into, ?

Alright mate no what you mean, seems a bit of a minefield after a long time away but the principles are still the same a nice Y shaped stick, some elastic and a leather pouch, main difference is with all the physio and palate bands around we are spoilt for choice, people now cut precision pouch,s using a dye rather than cut the tongue from an old leather boot with a pair of scissors, but the basics don’t change, here are a few of my naturals, old wooden forks with either a hole cross drilled through the tips for tubes or a groove in the tip from a round file to hold flat bands, the old square

Nice one John it’s the other part of mine that’s gone but looking at it I recon I can make it myself and out of a solid bar so it don’t keep bending and snapping all the time, but still going to keep me eye out out for an old knackered hw for a full strip and rebuild ?

My anchor point is the end of my big nose regardless of how far back I draw even full butterfly if it runs past my nose I tend to hit, but on the starship it works out at the corner of my mouth, a full inch lower for some reason, don try to fathom it out just go with what works, I also find it much better to point my forks forward rather than at a right angle to the bands as all the instructional videos suggest, again don’t no why but it works for me??
