Being raised by my Nan who survived both ww1 and 2 and was tougher than most blokes today that was a lesson she drove into me if you can’t afford it you can’t have it and if you save up and buy it you will appreciate it and look after it, how right she was and how far we have come to get into the throw it away and just click on amazon for a new one by the morning world we now live in is madness

Personally I just take loads of still shots on my iPad occasional video but your always trying to pause it to get a still so just take lots of photos as you go much easier

Bit of an early tea off up the pub for the annual Christmas boaters skittles match and food later so got a bit of scrambled egg and smoke salmon to tide me over

I was importing land rover jaguar parts from China at the time adding my own little bits then sending them on to Liverpool for assembly took me two years to get it all set up and running as a money maker then the dirty yellow fecks gave us coved shut down the warehouse I was renting shut down the land rover plant then stole my idea and moved it to China never asked or got any furlough lost the lot

Homemade Christmas cake not a fan of icing so after it’s finished soaking up alcohol gets fed brandy every other day it will be sealed with an apricot glaze been going for over a month and soaked up half a bottle of brandy so far Mmmmmm

In truth they never slowed anything down you either got it or you never like the vax but if it makes folk feel happy and safe then crack on but just leave me and my un jabbed un masked face to do the same go about my business un bothered

First time in as long as I can remember we are not hosting this Christmas had 11 onboard last Christmas but this year the eldest and her fella are hosting on the new super yacht so be nice to walk away at the end of the day

Met mine in the pub she was local I was a bit transient been together 41 years and still not put a ring on it lol

Bit old for them games now mate plus the leisure battery’s are very temperamental you can’t mix and match and if you put one duffer in a bank of good ones it will kill them all so best to change them all and be done three are still ok so I will check them all and fit the two best ones to my motor home just finished fitting took 4 hours and my backs in half lugging them up and down the ladder into the engine room then sat bent over working out all the wires lol

Four days a week I pick these up from school summer is much easier as they will be outside until bed time so I feel your pain but they are great

The ones they will be replacing have been on here since I bought the boat5 years ago so not sure how old but if I get 5 years I,ll. be happy mate

Bit of a wet one this morning letting lots of water out onto the fields bit gutted because the streams have gone from drought to flood with very little window to fish them in between -
It’s the kids flu vaccine mate as I said my grandkids were the only ones to refuse it in the whole school
