They can be different what works with one, doesn’t work for all that’s for sure. The pup I’ve got atm is very smart but man she can be stubborn and doesn’t take to a firm hand can be frustrating at times, getting on top of it now. I’m sure you will work it out, if not there is always vallium.

At the moment the fukcer will be lucky to progress past 4 months ... It's going to be an emotional ride ...... Patience man! Pups will be pups i’m still filling in holes and picking up shite she tears to bits

Statistics show that most pups with different coloured eyes, by time they reach maturity develop an extra set of genitalia or to be more precise hermaphroditic, and when let loose in the field spend more time trying to impregnate themselves than hunting. Although this statement may not be true it did make for interesting reading. Cracking pup mate ATB with it will be good to see it progress.

I have owned 5 pure bred whippets over the years and as many whippet crosses. The pure one I got pts last month was 22.7 tts. Great great rabbiting dogs, the only reason we cross them at all is to give them better feet (and stamina not that they need it if fit) for the hard ground here. My old whippet and my new pup (9mths 22tts)

I feel for you mate, never an easy decision, Had one pts last month had him 14 years, if he is still happy, and not in constant pain, and eating well all is good imo. Once quality of life goes then it’s time.

Got called out to do a quick job today the women who rang said she had quite a few rabbits digging up the garden, and were living under the pool recreation area. Upon arriving I did a quick inspection of the place, set up the long nets , a couple of purse nets and dropped the ferrets in, 1 hour 45 min’s and 9 rabbits later, I was done and on my way home. All went well except the bloody camera battery went flat, all in all a good and very enjoyable day.

They run like they have never been out of the kennel, I have owned a couple of crosses over the years that made the hares look like they were standing still. Even my 9 mth old bitch is faster than that lot. She is a whippet x deerhound/grey

3/4 deerhound mate was pick of the litter can't get over how long his legs are but seems very sheepish , slowly but surely starting to become more trustingNice pup, he will grow into those legs. Had a couple like him, mine were slow to mature but well worth the wait. great dogshopefully his legs grow into his paws ....there huge haha just going to take it easy with him for a good while I think maybe just have him with me when I'm out with the ferrets I take all my pups out ferreting, just dont push him

Buy a cart and deliver milk with him till he is 1 1/2, sometimes them big dogs take a bit to mature
