    This was two cubs playing last year, look at the date.. there’s a big set there in the ditch, starts at 200yrd from where I’m stood and last hole is bout 240, it’s like the Hilton… soon as there wiped out something else moves in!

    Not heard any calling but my mate did the other night… I saw two adults together last week though, couldn’t get them as they were skyline.. the one in front was focused on a mission and the one behind looked like it had been run over, it was breakdancing trying to keep up?

    Was out on fox’s last night… looked like a deer rave in one field! steal the cobs and drag them onto stubble for party time… must of been 20 roe in this one set me alarm for 5.30 this morning, been a rough week n thought fcuk it and went back to kip! gonna have to dedicate some proper time to this problem as gates are gettin ripped Off and the numbers are out of control:(

    Been re roofing a lean to at a farm I shoot last couple of weeks, the farm savage collie sits guard over calves and the lambs dependant on the time of year… he had a good growl at me other day when I went to see the new calf.. keeps the fox’s away?

    Nearly every shoot round here has a few specials thrown in the mix, there’s a few lads do weird and wonderful breeds round this way.. some cost a fortune? got the nod last week the rats are back but from what I saw last year was it’s hedgehogs as well that are smashing the eggs up.. there’s a fox frying electric setup that keeps them at bay and keeps me on me toes?

    Was walk-in dog years ago, mega frosty morning.. saw a harvest mouse, stood and watched it for a while then it came over and sat on me foot… brought it home with me, stuck it in a box with water and me fishing bait”boileys” for food as the fcukers ate mine in the garage so knew they liked them. aft a couple of days thinking it would prob die it didn’t so bought it a proper house and it lived it’s time out in me daughters bed room… was a friendly little thing but bloody noisy for something so small? hence his name

    Carp catchers should be shot… it’s the lazy man’s spot! I’ve fished since god was a boy but barrows to cart your shit about is madness.. the day I catch a fish with a name is the day I’ll throw me gear in the bin. lot of my mates are bivy boys but they all Smoke weed n get pissed, don’t even think they like there wives so that’s why they do it?

    I was well pleased when I saw you’d stood the que and paid your respects the other day.. kind of a northern thing as I couldn’t get there?     Dangerous things them quads.. funniest thing I’ve seen was some hill billy up on the moors years ago doing trace element dropppin on the grass, I was repairing a wall at time! he worked it out he had to go so many mph to deliver the right amount… the land was steep as f and rolled every way imaginable… that was over twenty years ago and I can still hear him screaming when I think about it? least you dint break any bones stav?

    Recon then folding squares are the best buy I’ve had in years, proper handy! mines always on back of the bus, way better than luggin a massive wooden one about? only time i string and tape is setting a building out.
