  1. This one I’m runnin has blown me mind… the last two dogs I’ve had would eat a manky hedgehog but I can lay out fresh deer hearts and she'll turn her nose up ? only thing she’ll eat raw is chicken legs now.. fussy little twat. good job she’s good at what she dose or it’d be on wagg or gone.
  2. £5 from county butcher, all minced in Dog use to eat it raw now I’ve got to boil it or she won’t touch it?
  3. The dirty little b@stands that did this are soon to be whacked in an sas style , I’ve been training these boys up.. I don’t like the fact that they kill the song birds but there pretty good at taking out the bloody pigeon nests! they feel quite at home in the jungle garden, could of kicked this when I took the photo this tree is bang in front of my house, every one on the street dodges the trees but if your late back from work it’s a trip to the jet wash the next day? aghhhh?
  4. Still 16* now. Just driven past your area, surprised there any birds left, deer and pheasants splattered all over Rd from Helmsley to thirsk ? be a steady drive home down suiside lane later.
  5. Ffs? recon I’d of barrfed ? I’ve worked with a few old school paddy’s who use to kip in the vans and spend the digs money on booze! can’t stand wine or Champaign.. did my last wedding toasts with a bottle of becks! very civilised us Yorkshire folk
  6. You can make them some Yorkshire wine if you want… got a call other day about a chicken muncher! went looking in the lost garden with the dog and found this? must thrive on neglect.
  7. Snap.. mines in today, was driving about till 8 last night getting materials and bits sorted for a tilling job today! big kitchen floor with 6” tiles.. did a big beam and block floor yesterday, the beams were shite and needed baring all over the spot for certain ones to drop in… me finger ends are black n blue:( gonna be a fun day?
  8. spent a summer there as a kid in a bloody caravan when the bridge was being built.. me dad was working on a land rigs testing for oil and gas.. and yeah I got covered/stuck in that stinky mud a fair few times ? highlight of that holiday was fishing the local ponds and watching the fallguy on a sat night ?
  9. Just enjoyable times, I was a toddler when this was made but it’s how I was formed real men and great times… these old lads created me
  10. The dogs cool as f sd, it’s like a breath of fresh air.. back to basics or my teens, how ever you look at it… I was ready for throwing the towel in but I’m back:) the dog ventures will stay a mystery though ?
  11. Went up the moor last night with the intention of banging a buck and possibly a fox after but it wasn’t to be… asked my mate if he’d had an anthrax spill as never saw a single thing.. not even a rat around the pigs! was weird as I’ve shot fox’s up there in open fields with the moon lightin me up like a beacon.. was ok this morning when I was out for round two.. need some kip I’m knackerd?
  12. Was out before dawn this morning as the roe are out of control and the wethers cool enough for the meat not to go manky.. few of the old boys I know ain’t too good at the moment so I’ve filled there freezers for them! two are old dog lads and the oldest at 91 has been game mad all his life… one of the dog boys painted me this a few weeks back so I thought a couple of back straps a leg and few beers would be a nice thank you? both heart stoppers and dropped on the spot
  13. that was when I first started loading, was pretty reserved back then! my .204 loading started with max load fired into a bank with me not looking at the gun just in case it blew up, all looked fine with case and bolt lift so settled on a few gr over top.. me 6.5’s are all above book max too?
  14. This was my mix for a 1-12 .223 worked well with these and nosler 55gn ballistic tips.. Both clovered at 100
  15. not sure what the difference is between the 20's.. I know one of them uses a fair bit less powder! as for point and shoot its a good round, that said dont think ive ever shot anything passed 300yard with any gun.. im happy with an old duplex on me 6,5x55 easy to judge out to 300 not interested at all the clicks up and windage stuff
  16. its a doddle to load for sl, I dont go to wild and will let the loads slip +or- 1/2 grain and when I check the zero on a new batch there more or less bang on to the point I dont re zero.. the 39gn Sierra I loaded are same poi as the 32's I load as well not that ive ever shot a fox with them as the 32gn nosler just work well.. every load ive done will clover at 100yard no problem and that's just going to loading manuals. I only picked up the vmax as I was running low but Marcus has got some more nosler back in now. my foxing mate is always trying to get me to flog him the .204 cos
  17. Your deed for the day is done, you managed to spur me on to knocking a few fox droppers up? thought sod it so I’m doing a 20 batch of new brass as well and having a go with the 32gr vmax.. the 40gn factory stuff was accurate but splashed a few, want to see how home grown works! The x-terminator worked well in the .223 so hopefully it’ll be good in .204, it’s cheaper than reloaded and throws better!
  18. I need to do a couple of batches too, did 50 in the last batch down to the last 5…got some new brass that I’ve had for ages but this fiochi brass that I got given lasts ages, think I’ve used them bout 8 times already and still lookin good! been thinking about using the 6.5 for everything for a while as I got given a load of stuff off a mate who changed cal. and I like the big boom and thump it kicks out?
  19. Yeah… nothing in this heap o ? works properly! dont think It’s been serviced in years! 6m conc beams to lift for the floors tomorrow.. that’ll be fun?
  20. Board stiff so on me phone, need to fill this but can’t take me foot off brake or it’ll roll into scaffold behind? Been like being back at collage today
  21. Sharpens a new axe other day with 4” grinder with a 40 grit like yours above took two mins to get a good edge on it.. but if your after a bench grinder I got a b&q special bout 20 year ago, it’s had loads of pain and still going strong, looks exactly same as ones there sellin now for £37 just different brand
