I did it years ago and it wasn't until the fourth generation that they could be handeled and worked properly ......... what about if you cull the jill after a week then hand rear them.?

    Take somebody with you that has some idea about lurchers mate ......... when i went to get my 1st lurcher.i picked a pup which looked absolutley fine to me.it wasn't untill i got him back to mine and let him have a run up the garden something wasn't right but i just thought it was a gangly deer/grey pup.took to the vets for the jabs and the vet said it had a broken hip.p.t.s.there.really don't have much luck with lurchers.

    Another expert who failed with one saluki so their shit LOL bull x must be your line LOL Wind ya neck in db lol, I am no expert whatsoever, never owned a saluki but know plenty who have, and as for bull x I've only ever owned one, thats the one I have now and she only has 1/8 th in her, think before you assume eh! so seeing as you rate salukis, tell me what can they do better than a regular lurcher? they won't do rabbits as good, never seen them in the past catch hares as quick as a 3/4 bred grey, I will stand by what I said they good for one thing, breeding wind into running dogs W

    Aye I would have thought anyone with half a brain could see that I was sharing a cautionary tale not trying to boast FFS i'm not at all upset or even annoyed.i couldn't really give a toss if you O.D'.but saying the quality was always relatively good but i got a weak nose with a smilly face next to it is not sharing a cautionary tale.
