  1. Dont agree with you there mate. PLenty of bull x's were 24/25 and 60~65lb and had pace to catch stuff single handed. bull x's can knock all sorts over including deer under the lamp but a daytime roe or hare thats up and running 60--100 yds away will live to see another day
  2. fuji's don dog was a lurcher x full collie i think.don't think anybody could say he was crap.
  3. I can only speak as I find ,max is seven and still takes everything and anything. You have a collie cross that's single handed on everything and anything, sorry I'm not buying it, not calling you a liar just don't believe it has been truly tested... i take it the 93 in your user name refers to your year of birth.your just a boy you aint seen nothing yet.
  4. The people like BGD who agree with what happened to him are pond scum. Lepers avoid people like him don't worry about him,he's off his face.
  5. fo the taliban run by this convention then aswell I dought it should be no rules when your fighting a bunch of cowardly wankers Your Goverment are the ones that wanted rules in war so dont cry when they fall foul of them like a big girl. i think you mean OUR government. No I didnt vote for them still this countrys government and anyway you voted with your feet by coming over here.
  6. are they choc labador x greys.?

  8. max wood, what do you use him for.?i like something a little bit different.
  9. My hairy dog kicks right off if a dog shows aggression when approaching us. Even worse if I have my kids, quite a handful. He's wary of odd balls and keeps eye on them as well. the 1st dog i owned was a working border and he was super protective of me.i remember sitting on the settee with my dad and my dog, giving my dad a bit of lip when he smacked me around the head.in a black and white flash my dad lost the collar off his shirt.play boxing with my sisters boyfriend and ted bit him on the back of his thigh and meant it.good old boy he died at 15.
  10. hahahahahahahaha.every thread with his dogs on and there's always about 5/6 idiots who write ''nice whippet'' or such like.
  11. even i'm getting bored with the whippet jokes now,god knows how socks feels about it.
  12. I wouldn't say game exactly.... at least not in the way a good bullcross or wheaton cross is but if they're brought up right with enough confidence in you and in themselves they'll have a good shot at most stuff. That's what I've found anyway.I bought a stock broken 3/8 5/8 bull x off here once..... It was game for anything sheep, cows etc. I did manage to sort it.... wasn't the dogs fault and I don't think it'd ever been out anywhere. Id love another but I've got a small child and won't take any risks (alright his mother said no) do bull crosses hurt children then? If I'd known that I woul
  13. Good luck in your choosing mate, though in my opinion there's better dogs out there than deer/greys, but I'm not the one feeding it you are, happy hunting there's better specialist dogs out there but not day and night all rounders.you won't regret it ragmogit.might get a couple of 3/4 grey 1/4 deerhound in the summer.
  14. glad to read it and i don't doubt it.proper all rounders.
  15. Hitler,Jews and Collie lurchers, you are one dumb feckwit mucker,it saddens me when i see your sort polluting the rank and file of lurcher ownership, thankfully you are a very small minority. thats bull x owners for you .sorry.i quite like the dog on the 1st page though.what would you like to put him over.?
  16. excellent men and dogs.do you ever let your dogs track deer or retrieve shot hares.?
  17. let the russians come, there women are much better then ours.
  18. Most animals are naturally scared of footsteps and the smell of dogs and people not motors, would you see so many deer along road sides etc if they were their scared of cars. But would they not start fearing motors afther dogs start getting fooked out windows at them. they'll soon learn.
  19. am i the complete dick on here or is it everyone else.
  20. you get nothing throwing dogs over gates when you gate lamp you spot them stop and get in the field and call that's how you do it however you do it you won't convince me.i can see how you could get good numbers doing it very early season but if there lamp shy by the time you've parked and got out they'll be nowhere near where you 1st put the lamp on them.where as if your walking you could slip straight away.
  21. some people pull into gate ways and shine over the gate then throw the dog out, then move on to the next gate way.those people are lazy down syndrome plebs.if you have 1000's of acres with no hedges then i can see the point but around here you'd struggle to drive over some of the land.
  22. never lamped from a motor i don't think it's the done thing.i would have thought a pair of head lights and the sound of the engine will push game away.game soon gets lamp shy walking the land but it's a alot more obvious your coming in a motor.
  23. It's safe to say we have the same sense of humour i wasn't joking though.
