i'm not saying she fit as a flea either but she's acting more like she's got a cough rather than anything more serious.socks and skycat your advice has been taken on board and rest, good food and some good conditioning will be happening.

it wasn't a high street vet,it's a very good animal hospital who have been good as gold with my mutts working injuries.it wasn't the run that she wasn't used to,she's out every day doing bits and peices.sometimes trotting behind my bike for 6/7 miles a couple of times a week.if fact she's run for longer than that before,i was more concerned about the tempreture of the day.told the vet about my concern about a husk and before i went i read sock's comment and told her that concern to but she said kennel cough.taken for a little walk just now and most people wouldn't notice any difference in her.

i read about that a couple of months ago.it's what i thought because she ran across some wheat stubbles to.told the vet my worry but she was convinced it's kennel cough but i told her she don't live in a kennel she lives in the house.

left her supper tonight no you can hear her coughing through the night and she didn't touch her supper tonight.

Metacam is an anti inflammatory and has nothing to do with treating kennel cough ... As I thought she has worked to hard and strained ... A weeks rest and she will be fine ... Just build her fitness up slowly and it won't happen again ...... i thought the same.so i'll just keep it sealed and use the honey and rest remedy.anything else to give her that will help.?.

just gave me some metacam to give her.probably caught it off a scabby bull x from a council estate.

she's 3 1/2.seemed fine before she took off but the truth might be that i didn't notice it.must have been something wrong because i thought it was strange for her to let one get away.haha

it's ok now just a bit of kennel cough.mine was the 4th dog with it today the vet said.£42 not bad.

she was fine before her run and then started coughing after she's very quiet also.eating and drinking though.

hot day here on sunday,dog took off and had a bit of a lung buster and now she sounds like she has got something stuck in her throat.trying to cough something up.any ideas.were going to the vets in an hour anyway.

See if you can find out where mate and if it's open to the public. I wouldn't mind the drive to fill a couple of freezers at that price. before you do that tell me what you want.
