  1. I never shoot in rain Phill so I have no idea if the rangefinder works or not. I did go for quite some time night shooting without a rangefinder and got it wrong a few times but got away with it more often than not because the .25 fac shoots very flat. Phil
  2. I must admit despite a few comments about Nitesite being rip off merchants, I have had great service from them, always ready to help and have done so for me as well. Good result Phill. Phil
  3. It you search back through the sales section, I think you will find one which didn't sell if I recall. Phil
  4. Why don't you put it in the sales section because you get members from other section viewing in there. Phil
  5. You could have your rifle taken to FAC by ASI the importer. I have an Impact .25 FAC and love it and so does everyone else who buys one. Phil
  6. Ditto, great minds think alike and I believe he still has it for sale. Contact him in the air rifle section.
  7. Why in god's name would you bring that into the equasion Mark............................small lightweight pcp Vs bloody heavy twangy thing. (kidding) On a serious note however, no fear of me buying another heavy springer, just don't see the appeal. Phil
  8. I wouldn't shoot a fox with my FAC .25 pcp running at 47fpe and it would be a perfect story for the anti brigade to get hold of. Stick to small vermin and you will not go wrong. Phil
  9. Oh dear...................................................perhaps I should just have kept it to myself.......................................................I know, I am not buying one of those awful little rifles, not ever. That should do the trick. Phil
  10. I should have added that the glass on this scope is really superb and have found I am able to use it approaching darkness much longer than I can with with MTC scopes and my Airmax. Phil
  11. One of my friends in the next village bought the same gun with a Hawke scope (not sure which) a 7lt tank in date last year for £500. He has just sold the rifle for £425, keeping the scope for another gun and a separate sale for the tank which he got £80. I think he sold the rifle a little too cheap but private sales are fetching around £500 for the gun / scope depending on the scope in my neck of the woods. Phil
  12. Boys boys boys................................................all that matters is that I like this rifle and I am hoping it will fit the bill for the tasks I have in mind for it. A lot of people slagged off the 110 when it was first launched but I learned recently that it now out sells the 100 series models and as I know of a few people including my shooting partner has and really likes them so why will this be any different. I totally take on board it may not be a looker but that said, neither is a 100. All I know is that this little rifle has great appeal to me and feels bloody good in the s
  13. View Advert Hawke Endurance 5 - 15 x 50 scope Selling my .22 rimmy so this scope is no longer needed. It was bought earlier this year and has been out on the bunnies only a handful of times so in effect it is NEW. The scope comes with a pair of Sports Match med mounts and has the original box also in perfect condition. In an RFD shop, you would not question that this scope was not brand new so grab a bargain. I am wanting to move this quickly so it will be on here for a short time only. £160 posted Phil Adve
  14. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo its lovely Sean. I need a sub 12 for a couple of perms and this is just perfik. Phil
  15. As Sean says, yes quite easy really. The barrel set is approx £350 complete with one mag and it takes only a minute or two to change barrel set. If you kept the .177 in fac, it would be rated at approx 16-18fpe and the .25 is approx 47fpe. Just for your info, if you dial the power setting down to minimum, it will drop from 47 down to approx 25fpe which makes the .25 cal very very flexible and extremely entertaining. Phil
  16. Shooting a sub 12 is a valid point Phill, I have and that was when I just KNEW it was the gun for me buy it would be worth travelling to try one out Jimmy because we are all different. If and when my RFD gets another s/h sub12 Impact in mate, I will give you a shout so you could come and try it out if you want. Phil
  17. It is a really difficult one Jimmy as you know I am a huge FX Fan having owned four and of course love my Impact, way better than any other rifle I have owned BUT this is something only you can answer. I really do feel for you mate as the plans are fcuked for a while buttttttt, if you can get the Impact, it is only a matter of £100 approx to convert it to FAC as my pal has just done so then when that day comes that you can go FAC, you will not be buying a rifle costing over two grand (as the price will have shot up further due to brexit or something else) and instead only splashing a small sum
  18. I was round at my local RFD buying a couple of O/U shotguns for my wife (long story ) and Andy who works in the shop shouted across to me ' those little guns are in Phil, they are on the wall rack '. Trish (my wife) was busy chatting to one of our clay shooting friends so I left her talking and went to scan the air rifle wall rack ...................................there they were, two HW110K rifles, fresh in that yesterday. One in .177 and one in .22. The .177 had already been sold within one hour of being put out on the rack. I walked over to Trish carrying the little rifle, she just
  19. That's great. I knew it would be a good deal for someone. I was in the shop today buying some guns but they never said although perhaps I left before you bought it. You got a good deal as it is only a few months old. Phil
  20. No of course I don't mean mine........................... My shooting buddy and I went up to the range yesterday to set his new Impact up with the scope and get it zeroed. This was done at 25mt, which for an FAC .25, is very short but we were going out on the rats and roosting ferals to get used to the gun so this zero is fine and to be honest it is only half a mildot holdover for 65mt so okay for him to get used to the gun. We popped down to my rat perm, a dairy farm only five minutes from me and although I had my Impact with me, it is more about Chris finding his feet with his new
  21. Great stuff, glad it arrived in one piece. Hope it does what you need matey, should be fine although I have not used it for a while. Phil
