  1. I know you will not be shooting for a while Ethan because of recent events BUT don't use it as an excuse for missing the bunnies or I will take the p1ss with all the wise cracks that I can think of.......... I hope you get better soon me ole dukzzz. Phil
  2. Same old thing at my end Ethan, hunting, clay pigeon shooting, Carp fishing and sea fishing all I need is a good lotto win then I will be really happy........... Phil
  3. That is a real shame, I would be very upset if my trees were damaged.
  4. Is that really you Ethan, can't be, you are way to tall for that little fella I remember. So grandad forgot the magazines....................it's an age thing Ethan but at least he remembered to put his trousers on. I agree with you regarding the Wildcat, superb little gun, I wished I still had mine but it had to go in order that I could get the Impact. It's good to see you back shooting and on here matey. Phil
  5. About an hour after posting this thread, I popped down to the sea wall 1.5 mile away and the wind made it very difficult to stand still without the gusts pushing me around. Today no wind, Great, I can spend some time with the rifle............................then it started to really throw it down with rain. Can't bloody win !!! Phil
  6. Never heard of it but why not sending BSA/Gammo an email to find out if you can get one. Phil
  7. That is one hell of a name there fella and I seriously wonder WHY but anyway. All Italian gun makers skeet vests are made very small so forget makes such as Beretta, Perazzi and Caesar Gueirini. Try to get a Musto as they make larger sizes and also have a built in extension which opens up another 3'' to aid fit although I am not sure they still make them. Another good company to try is Jack Pike and Seeland with the latter being very well made. I have a number of skeet vests but my favourite by far is my Castellani mesh vest and possibly the best skeet vests out there but be prepared to pa
  8. Welcome Aboard Curtis. Pity you are 3 hours away as I don't eat any of the rabbits I shoot so you and your dad could have as many as you wish. phil
  9. My youngest daughter has been going for archery lessons over the past few weeks with her pal. She and myself did a bit of archery about 16 years ago but nothing since that. Yesterday Trish and myself went along to watch them, the coach asked if I wanted a go so not needing to be asked twice, I had a three arrows set which I managed to get on the board in a 5'' group off to the left side but nevertheless they were on the target. At the end of the session as we were getting ready to leave, Trish asked if I fancied a taster session to which I said yes so next Thursday we are both booked in
  10. Lost the bungalow....................................SHIT.
  11. I was texting Mitch the other day, chatting about my Impact fac etc and whilst on with him, he asked me to pass on to you guys his regards and best wishes so here it is. I keep in touch with him on Airgun forum. He is a little quieter on there than he was on here but still lays some cracking one liners to some of the guys. Phil
  12. I have never been keen on internal chokes as I like to see whats in there and just give a twist with my fingers to check they are tight and with this in mind, the internal chokes of this 682G are not to my liking. I looked for an independent manufacturer for some extended chokes but the price was bloody high to say the least then I found on Beretta's Italian site that they made a set for the 682 called Victory which are not available through GMK (UK importer). I had heard some good things about Brieley guns and their chokes so I thought it would be worth checking to see if they had anything t
  13. Over here in sunny Lincolnshire we have for over a month now had super strong winds, not gale force but bloody strong to the point that shooting with air rifles is a waste of time as the gusts vary so much and even with my Impact .25 fac, I cannot get a 45yd zero established let alone going out to 100yds. To say I am pissed off is a slight understatement as all I have been able to do is pratt around in the RFD's 25mt range which is not going to tell me a great deal about holdover at 80yds or carry out a proper pellet test on the three types of pellet I will be using. I spent £200 having all
  14. A change of plan, my pal who owns the rifles and gear is taking them all back to pass on to his sons so in all honesty, I don't know what will be left with me so I am not able to confirm at this moment if I will be able to give you the sights. Don't buy any yet though because he won't be picking up the gear for a week and youu are not desperate for the sight yet so just hang fire and lets see what happens, I will let you know when I know BN. Phil
  15. Key in your gun serial number BN and you will get the year of manufacture. A very handy little thing is this. WDB - DYWP WWW.WEIHRAUCH-DATABASE.EU A user built database with Weihrauch products Phil
