  1. To be honest I am not sure the best way to report them, I have sent Ian the odd message but don't know if that is the right way.
  2. I remember 'Ted's Holdover ' in the USA swears by Hades in his FX Impact guns and regards them as the best hunting pellet although I believe he now uses slugs more than pellets. They are a pellet I have never tried, in part due to the small stock of .25 cal pellets that I needed but they are on my radar to try in my .177 sub 12.
  3. Only if the air rifle is 'full power'. In the UK, if an air rifle is below 12fpe, no license is required but over 12fpe, a firearms license is required and that is not always easy to get and has to be approved by the police. Now you know why in UK we have to shoot our live quarry through the head in the main if shooting with 12fpe guns. Each fac gun we buy, we have to get what is called a 'variation' to our fac license or what we call a 'slot', for example, I have just sold my .22 rimfire back to the shop as it was not accurate but before I could buy another rimfire of the same cal, I had to
  4. You are lucky as we have to jump through hoops to get a firearms license. I have had two Impacts .25 fac (full power), really good guns although mine were the earlier models, Mk1 and 2 so not suited to slugs however 25.4gr Air Arms Field pellets certainly did the business. I no longer have them switching to rimfire as part of a reorganisation in my shooting. Phil
  5. What is the maximum power rating for air rifles in Belgium, The group looks good. Phil
  6. I think you are on the wrong site...................

  8. My pal uses a Tika Tx3 and swears by it. Give Forest Lodge Guns a call for the best advice.
  9. C3 is good and a lot cheaper than BASC or CPSA and you can upgrade to full legal cover. Phil
  10. Well last week my ticket arrived and less than 8 weeks so my thanks to the ticket office. I popped into the RFD a day later to pick up the CZ452 but first I took a Hawke Airmax Compact scope with me (a scope I have used and still do on a number of rifles and one I have faith in). I needed to set the gun up so as there is a 25mt indoor range at the RFD it was a good start point and as expected this little rifle using RWS subs was nothing short of perfect, a short test using Hornady HV (1200fpe) was slightly off zero but again perfect results in terms of groups. All I want now is for this
  11. Sorry this thread has come to a grinding halt but a wait for my variation which has just come through and yesterday I went and bought a rather nice CZ 452, and set it up with my spare Airmax Compact scope in the RFD's 25mt range as a start point. The Zulus is still there for me if I want it but as my Beemer is in the garage for a fault, I am not commiting to anything until I know how much it is going to cost me. Phil
  12. You should be so lucky......................... misty as hell here in not so sunny North Lincolnshire.
  13. Cannot do, my BMW 4x4 has developed a DriveTrain issue, it is going in next week so I will have to see how much that is going to be as BMW know how to charge............................................. not good for my pension. Phil
