  1. you should get a fair reach with the 14-140. but the 300 would be better. its a micro four thirds so i think that would work as double. . ie. 140. is equivelant to 280 good luck with your new toy.
  2. Thats my point. they are all different. and brought on different. ive only kept a couple so can only go on what ive had and those ive seen. and they have been no worse than any bull cross or terrier cross. as for man biting none i know have this trait. if they did they would have been put away. is it a case of give a dog a bad name. ? MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL. Darcey.
  3. yea they are a time bomb waiting to go off. kill all yer dogs eat yer kids and worry any stock that gets between them and the quarry they have been pointed at. FFS. SOME NONSENSE WROTE ABOUT THIS CROSS. good and bad in them same as most terrier blooded lurchers.
  4. we built a shed for a new wagyu venture. last year up here . they are doing well. they also breed aberdeen angus x wagyu . the meat from he cross is also high quality. the burgers are to die for, most is sold from a farm shop. not cheap mind
  5. you can get a lovely calender at most good newsagents. its under p. just above the pom and pug
  6. she is very keen bud. and a nice easy bitch to own, made up with her.

  10. A FEW OF MY OLD DOG . DEARLY MISS THIS LAD
  11. the size shape and temprement of the dogs Bill brightmore kept was similar to the lakies sporting ped lines. seriously gassy feckers. just my ten peneth . cowan midleton etc mey be breay and buck terriers in them but they took more to the fell/lakie. he bred some very smart terriers that worked well. and there are one or to lads with this stuff north of the border.
  12. class. second imag gets my vote
  13. Not even if Brian Plummer did it ? I think him and his writings are responsible for the majority of people trying to start their dogs far too early,... and, like I said, anyone that starts their pups on rats deliberately at 16 weeks is a clown, simple brian nuttal didnt help matters either {if they dont go at nine months they will go at twelve} . i wouldnt encourage anyone to enter there terrier at rats at such an early age. but an experienced man {woman} should be able to judge if a young terrier is capable of a run at a couple of greys. yours in sport coco....
  14. glad to read a happy ending. for you and dennis. bad craic
  15. it would depend on the pup for me. a big strong forward pup i probably would allow it a crack at that age. i did it with max. i suppose you have to be able to gauge your wards and enter them when your confident it wont set them back. most of my pups where held back till they have the equiptment. around 6 months and some a little older Max 14 weeks with a young rat.

    The Hoops

oh dear. what a shame. never mind.
  17. totally different shapes in head/body wise and temperments-folks bang on about wheatens being dog aggressive... Everyone I've been around has been good as gold, only interested in the job at hand. If a dogs nasty with others then that's down to a bad owner imo. Atb dc i would have to disagree with you. some dogs are just downright twats. and no amount of socialising will change them . Darcey and carter.jpg DSC00860_edited-1.JPG first image is Darcey. quarter wheaten. second is ozzy. first cross. pic of baby and lurcher in second pic is brilliant cracker of dog too good square
