I used to catch them with the old style mike bottles. Just used to prop the milk bottle at about 45% against an old rag or some thing put bit of biscuit in the bottle and a few crumbs scattered about. They go in and cant jump out just take them out somewhere and let them go. Must be the old bottles that were taller and tapered more slowly. Cheers Arry

I started work at 16 as you said carried on working to 66 even though I could have retire at 65. Because I opted out of something for two year when I work in a factory on maintenance I don't get a full pension. Them that work hard all their lives seem to get penalised and them that dos around get it all handed to them. Like the ones that grafted struggled to buy a house, it will get taken off to pay care when old. People that dossed did f**k all will get their care for free. Cheers Arry

A Bee hive penny token. old foreign coins that might have been used a tokens. Not token but find a quite a few lead bag seals like this Sutton seeds one. Cheers Arry

Not sure Kanny to be honest I hope British Museum buys it for a fair price. I never sold anything except a scrap little gold watch and I did that local. This is a different kettle of fish. Just have to wait and see. It's the waiting thats going to be the only drawback as far as I can see. Cheers Arry

My guess Greg is she or he loses it at harvest time or ploughing as it's in the middle of a field. Gold is gold and aways worth something. Think if you were throwing it it I think you would throw it into a pond or in a river from a bridge. Yeah I always wonder even if I find a coin how it was lost and the circumstances and how it might have impacted on their lives with the lose. Cheers Arry
