  1. Paramo pajero gb. Take mine in all weathers digging or lamping walking miles or staying in one spot and its brilliant. Plenty pockets can fit a lithium battery or bellman box in comfortably.wouldnt be without one now.
  2. I like what someone said earlier. Shows what some on here know and what some think they know ? well done tyson be nice to see what he makes of aj ??
  3. Collar was good aswell would fit a terrier or teckel no problem and antenna bit was quite tough. If you just want something to find a lurcher or busher when its killed or is marking then dogtrace is alright.
  4. Yeah i was told it was abit more than that. Yeah owned the dogtrace had a few problems with it as i didnt know how to re calibrate it properly as soon as someone showed me it was dead on half the price of a garmin or sportdog served me well for my needs and didnt just use it in the open done alot in the forests with it. If i needed another id order ome of those tomorrow out the box calibrate and away ya go.
  5. But your paying import tax amd what not ? I dont own any now but when i needed one on the dog the dogtrace done job fine few lads i let borrow it said the same.
  6. The messing about that comes with it. Though if your lucky enough to buy a set that works without paying over the odds thats probably the better one of the lot
  7. Too big and bulky for my liking. Seen them all used now and each one has a downside or a nagative.
  8. I do rate the paramo gear best stuff ive had by far
  9. Theres terriers out there that catch roe whilst bushing if i owned a whippet id be disapointed it if it didnt stop a few each season to be truthful.
  10. There will only be a couple places all four are about without reds being present alao surely ?
  11. Ah right i see what ya mean. Though not going to lie if i could get a young dog to stay while i lamp another id be abit disapointed with the youngster different when there older and got a couple hundred bits under there belt. But fair play and best of luck ??
  12. When you say steadiness rubbing off on the wheaton what you mean dc ?
  13. Not everyone finds it hard getting graft for the dogs. Some find it far harder to get a dog for the graft.
  14. I agree two crows breed to strengths not weaknesses. Theres enough decent things out there now if you know where to look.
  15. I dont think they will all do it. Some dogs just aint got jack in them. They rare n normally a pain to breed from but they out there.is it a good dog man that tests his dogs because any weakness they may or may not have he wants to see it or is a good dogman someone that can carry there dog ? I know who id rather have a pup off myself.
  16. It is jacking in my book. But most dogs wont get enough stick to see whether they will do it or not.
  17. Seen dogs pull up on rabbits and hares but would break a hedge in half to get the eyes reflecting back off something else. Think some dogs just dont get alot out of catching heavy numbers on the lamp and fetching th back.
  18. Couldnt pay me to keep one as a household dog far too big n coat takes some work.
  19. One Caucasian at 6 months one at ten week. Good at looking after big places but the coat is a pain. Would try a central asian type if the right one came up.
  20. Keep nails short and visit a boneman to make sure everything is where it should be. Soak dogs feet some say salt water is enough others use different things.
  21. Harkila and seeland are both jank.
