  1. Anyone else who got sent an empty pm, please don't reply to it... something went wrong as the pm was sent with nothing in to a lot of people, it contained a post thats pinned in general chat.... My inbox is crammed with replies and I don't have the time to look at them, I empty some old ones out and when I come back its full again... so please no more,, I can't take it... should of sent it right in the first place...duh
  2. Thats my mass grooming pm, wilf me and darcy need fresh young blood...lol

  3. Thanks snareman, Can you recommend a supplier I can purchase the 0.457 from? HH. G. i can www. gameandcountry.co.uk sory dont know how to put a direct link up but you could get 8kg of o.457 brass wire from them for £112. make a lot of snares from that to about 1600 i say Its actually £154.60 for 8kg, as the price on the site you quoted is wrong and also non of the prices include vat on gameandcountry site...
  4. Well if I wanted I could bag 100 a night... but to be honest I'd be pushed getting 500-700 a week, week in week out... I suppose its down to the area but even the best of areas thats some good going... I drive the land, which helps, pegandgun used to do the same and on a quad which helped get the numbers up even more...but keeping it up throughout the year is some feat...
  5. Good video ianrob, hopefully some people will benefit from it...
  6. Acoustic is ace... I like sterophonics dakota, great track.... I always liked snow patrols version of run in acoustic too...
  7. York guns are importers also... I suppose its down to own choice but I prefer the standard legs over the notched legs.... also the genuine harris pods are better quality than the deben range...
  8. Just set a few snares myself, not many just on two small fencelines....... few fence snares and a few hoops, as I had them out with me and just used them like standard fence snares, rather than go back to the motor... Also set two fox snares, some wankers who tried to get lippy a couple of weeks back were out lamping same time as myself, and seemed to have some major problem, mentioned I had been reported to police and vehicle, pretendy game keepers ... I think i might be spoiling there fox shooting in the next couple of weeks, they definitely deserve a slap next time ours pathes cross,

  13. I don't have the time to respond to every post thats edited or removed, also for anyone whos sent me a pm and I haven't replied, I'll try and get back to you when I have more time, my apoligises...
  14. I wonder who is the joke.... I'm looking out for everyone, so don't think I do things for no reason... We have in the past had members images posted in local newspapers and images stolen for use on anti-snaring sites...which I'm sure yours would be lifted and used also.. So I removed it, if you had shown the image with it removed, then I would of left it.. If you fancy using some of your own time and starting a forum up were everyones happy 100% of the time... go for it.
  15. Various buddy, take a look at my signature... Enjoy the site!!

  16. Well I have limited time to acces the site due to working away... In my opinion from what I see, "The Pied Piper" springs to mind... Its like Jerry Springer... In my honest opinion blatant bragging is pathetic, theres members on here who I respect a lot, who have done the hunting game all their life, without causing any hassle, yes we all like to share pictures of our catch, but certain people want to get others backs up.... all this talk of numbers, hundreds of us have had the same and far far more... and anyone with sense who has done just a little bit, knows not to post illegal images o
  17. Foxhunter, yes I shoot them with rifle, but I would use any method preferably dogs, I'm not siding with one over another as everyone is entitled to do as they want and everyone is entitled to an opinion... I'm not knocking you or anyone else whatsoever, so don't take it the wrong way... To be truthfully honest, I'm starting to get sick of this internet after all this time, I try to be open minded and fair with people, but you've just got to accept you will never keep everyone happy all of the time...... Good Hunting Whatever Your Sport
  18. I've updated the security settings so hopefully we should have no further bother...
  19. People are entitled to an opinion and I can see were neil, etc are coming from its frustrating if your a dog man seeing foxes being taken in big numbers every week using rifles.... but obviously this is part and parcel of the permission for some people to shoot, so they control numbers.... Myself I won't knock other peoples sports, I prefer hunting with dogs any day... but shooting is a legal, lethal and effective way of controlling foxes... We just need to accept it without arguements as everyone will do as they do regardless...
  20. Congratulations Stabs, best wishes for you and the family....
  21. Depends on area but around us, they normally always give open certificates...
  22. Images removed, out of season roe and lamping... This is illegal no matter what method you use..... I would of thought some people had more common sense and savvy??? Duh
