  1. RWS have a bigger grouping than Wini subs in my CZ. i did a post on it a couple of months back. But they would still be usable. Interestingly enough, i have never had one jam or misfire with Wini subs, and i use a good few... Matt Have you had any of the new batch of winchesters matty, also how olds your CZ?

    Markbrick!!

Just back in from lamping, and I read 13 pages of dross.... Please do us all a favour and stop making this complete utter turd into some sort of god or martyr , I'll stand by the decision to ban/suspend markbrick , to tell you the truth the bloke was treading on thin ice anyway.... If anyone has a problem with this, or feel there lives have been seriously affected by this decision please pm markbrick on one of the other forums he will probably turn up on, you can be best friends there...he may even have a new username, maybe "The Pied Piper" would be appropriate..
  3. Lads at work look at bebo and facebook etc looking at chicks 24/7 ...there seriously popular sites I think there crap, but then again they probably think I'm sad on here ... oh well such is life
  4. When I done them john, I just put table salt down them using a bit of 3mm fencing wire to push it down packing it in.... then hung the tail upside down, just clip/clamp the tip on something.. you get all the moisture out this way.... Butler told me, its very easy saves the meths carry on...
  5. Anyone use one of these rifles, had a look at one today in .22 LR and it seems a nice rifle, the trigger on it was two stage and very good... I've been told there similar or better than the anschutz of same spec...
  6. I had problems with winchester subs, the cases jamming in my CZ, i've asked the gunshop I use and they have mentioned that most new CZ rimfires are having trouble with jams, this is because winchester have changed the case size of the bullets, the older cz's shouldn't be affected, I've had a few flyers recently with the eley subs so I'm giving the RWS subsonics a go now, see how I get on...
  7. Grubs Stalker are pretty good too, same as muck boots with vibram sole...
  8. Bill my hobs a nightmare if you don't like digging, he bolts a few but more of often than not he kills in within minutes...Doesn't really bother me as I don't mind a nice shallow dig...
  9. Ha Ha chalkie.... At least we tried mate, we all travelled to show the masses, we were all there for a common cause, its in our blood and always has been!

  10. To be honest though barry the .243 with lighter (55/58gr bullets) will do everything the .22-250 can do but with more retained energy its also legal for all deer species in the UK and you can go right up to 105gr bullets dependant on what you prefer...
  11. Excellent day out keeps, shame about the dog, it can be tricky in them woods...
  12. Pictures aren't the best they weren't in focus... Cheeky chap goes straight under the rabbit snare...
  13. Just tell them you shoot roe south of the border, you pay for stalking were a .243 is a legal requirement..
  14. I was watching one today, I called it in, it climbed up some mesh and under a rabbit snare I had out, I'll put some photos on later, when I'm back in... Yes they will do some damage, but thats the nature of the beast... for the majority of people they are not really a problem...if i had any problems i.e bird predation then that would be a different matter I must admit I love seeing them myself great little animals, I spooked one earlier that was just going in for the kill on a mixy rabbit, sure he will find it again... do them both a favour..

  19. i think this is the best calibre and lots more fun hahahahaha Yes I agree spiderpig.... a bullet is less fun, but far more deadly than any dog... horses for courses..
  20. Yes I'd go with a .243 awesome calibre.. Other people prefer smaller/bigger this will do everything... the 58grain are deadly flat just like the .22-250's but you have more options for larger bullets... Just my opinion, others will differ... check out david/foxhunters posts they use the same setup .243 and 58gr hornadays...
  21. Looks the business rolfe I can just see them doing well in the supermarkets instead of aunt bessies yorkshire puddings it will be rolfes mums apple crumbles
