Keeping on topic, frosty the UK is a popular destination for americans, we have a whole lot of history here and you guys just love castles and all the medieval jist.. I'd only been a couple of time with pegandgun, I use someone local now about 5 mile away or if were further south a mate takes them and deals with a butcher close to him any quantity...

The Grubs Stalker are the same boots Tomo but with a Vibram sole... was looking at those at the midland ian, but ended up getting the new "la crosse" reduced from £130 to £50 full length realtree all rubber full legth , neoprean lined , and a proper hiking boot sole. so far they are first class and would deffo recomed these Tomo, is it right what nobby was saying you have camo underpants???

You want warmth, and wind/waterproof try Deerhunter Rusky, there not a walk about trouser in the sense you will overheat, they have superb insulation called Dexfil...So for something like pigeon shooting or ferreting they are ace...

.17 HMR good for shooting foxes or not?

Cleveland changed all there licenses awhile back, they won't let you have a.17hmr for fox, and personally I think thats good... Yes they will kill foxes at close range, as will a .22 rimfire and even a air rifle at 20yds or whatever, but theres not much margin for error at all with these small calibres... Its all about do you respect your quarry enough to ensure a clean and humane kill, after all we are only human and prone to error, a larger calibre gives you that greater allowance if there is any needed... I have a .17hmr and wouldn't attempt to shoot a fox with it more than 60/70 yds, e -

For anyone looking for stainless wire, they use it in the chemical/oil/gas industry for adding tags to valves that have been recertified... Just a heads up, if you know anyone..
