Good going lads, nice result.... Handcuffs & Baby Lotion, sounds like mr teapot has been getting ridden like a blackpool donkey... Just on another note, about the snares weathering, I'm not an expert by any means, but myself and pegandgun were out the other day, and he openly admits that he weathers all his snares, especially at this time of year when rabbits are more active during the day, we set out new and weathered peg snares and over a two day period the weathered snares took far more...Although as you state overnight it shouldn't make a difference....

Was out with pegandgun today to check a few snares hes had out the last few days, the ground is old slag from the iron ore from foundries and impossible to peg, with standard tealers, so they were attached to bricks and set as the same, hes had a good few from there the last few days, but the foxes took most of them overnight when they were checked this morning, leaving heads, or the full lot gone.... Sure they will have there day.. Heres a few shots anyway for people wanting to snare on similar ground, notice the length on one which was dragged a good 60ft then eaten, the foxes took seven

Never used them netter, only used fenn original mk4 and mk6 traps... 9 times out of 10 you get what you pay for, the same with the chinky traps that copy the BMI Magnum traps, yes there cheaper but there no were near as good quality or spring power and a lot are mis-shaped and can only be set on finest setting on dog..... crap , I'm specifically talking about 110's here though, can't comment on others..

What you got??? I was gona get an HDD one for the comp to record the heats up here, but didnt realise they f****d about with the recording of it!!!!!! Canon LongDogrunner this MODEL, three CCD... I'd go for a model with three CCD gives better colour, definition for your footage than standard camcorders... The HD camcorders are a bit over rated personally they require a more powerful pc to edit the footage and the image isn't that much better than a standard definition cam... Saying that if anyones feeling flush get one of these babys CanonXH . -

Only problem with camcorders that record to memorystick,hardrive or dvd is they compress the video to mpeg2 when capturing it, so when you import the video to edit it within your computer its already been compressed once... There handy though, I prefer to stick with the minidv tape format as its basically raw footage as long as the camcorders half decent, you should be ok.. -
I use the lightforce range of lamps primarily, each model has its advantages and disadvantages, but as some members have mentioned the striker is the best allrounder from the three available. I also use the cluson models which are handy and ideal with the utility light although not the same performance you get from lightforce in terms on beam.
