I get that he was carrying legally. But that alone will escalate everything. Even when one weapon has been removed. I only know what I’ve seen on the videos. It looked messy but by no means a clean case.

He is actually allowed to carry,he had a CWP and was 100% legal,the team of ice members who were involved in the debacle were out of Minnesota within 24 hours,sent elsewhere,the guy had both hands on the ground and was actually unarmed when he was shot,his weapon had been taken away.

The last shooting was messy. That’s the sort of event that needs properly investigating. That said, he was carrying, interfering with law enforcement, and most likely resisting them. That is not a situation you want to find yourself in. They had no idea if he had a secondary firearm, and someone got twitchy. MN looks like a really messy place to be conducting any kind of federal law enforcement right now. A lot of people carrying out coordinated resistance and an awful lot of genuine hate bubbling.
