Nowt special going on here today, bit a yard work an hounds are out local so iv kept a eye on them, out now getting last coulke hours a daylight with them

I watched a thing about them tar pits a whilst back, crazy place I never really got the whole dinosaur an extinct animal fascination tbh there’s more than enough alive to keep us fascinated haha but the few times iv saw that big dude from the boneyard on a podcast iv been glued to. Puzzling how he found so many remains an then add in all the shenanigans with the museums an stuff it’s a mad case, would love to go have a proper look about, even if it did all jist look like ole bones to me haha

Never seen a display,went to other displays of mammoth and the worlds largest collection of dire wolf skeletons in the california tar pits earlier this year.If the boneyard ever do a display i would love to visit.

I’d soak it in salt water and hibiscrub everyday try and make sure it’s flushed out and wouldn’t run him till it’s healed up properly because if dirt gets pushed into it and trapped it will cause a world of problems, had they been had hedge cutting where you were it could of just been a bit of hawthorn on the floor I’ve seen them go through car tyres before sharp as fook

Few miles with the dog mostly on lead , farmers got new signs up saying he doesn’t want to but he will shoot loose dogs on his land …. Which is fair enough. And he was out and about .

Went to a mineral and rock show,miners from Canada and the states mainly but a few international,got chatting to an old guy in his 80's who lived way up north as a kid and tried prospecting,lived on shot game and fish and found a nugget of gold the size of a thimble while panning a stream,I love stories like that. How you getting on with them mate. Only slight issue i have with mine is a few cracks in the leather despite using the hanwag boot wax after I had run out of the hanwag aerosol boot waterproofer though the boots are still 100pct waterproof.
