    FFS, I'll be seeing you.
  3. I was at the check out in Tesco's where I was behind a single mother of 4 kids in the queue, her bill came to £43.45 but when she counted out all her change she only had £40, feeling a bit sorry for her I insisted on helping and in no time at all we had all her shopping back on the shelves!
  4. Is that for auction or raffle...
  5. I’m not really wanting to get into this, and I’m sure Gunter doesn’t need anyone to stick up for him, but a pal of mine went over last year to hunt with the same lads I’m going to see and they fixed him up with a day out with Gunter and he said to me it was one of the the best days he’s had ! The lads I’m seeing have also recommended I have a day with Gunter and his hounds and terriers, and it’s arranged, and I’m looking forward to it. More “walking the walk” than “talking the talk” ! LOL ! Lets hope all the daft talk dies off when the season starts ! Cheers.
  6. I walked around the little island on the local carp lake,a few weeks back in my waders...found 43 leads/leaders/rigs hung up in the margins can't remember the last time I needed to buy any inline/solid bag leads/stems etc I find my fair share of leads and feeders on the river...best find so far....greys Prodigy barbel rod, with a Shimano bait runner reel attached....been in the water a while I'd say
  7. No point mate, the dude don’t want to have a conversation, he wants to have an argument. Just confine your chat to vaguely sensible lads, much nicer.
  8. I can remember lads getting more for eels than salmon and the risks were minimal
  9. I don’t know what the wolf hounds in Canada are like, but the ones here would be useless as a cross, far to big and heavy. My little bitch Delta with a pure Wolfhound; The Aussie lads on here will recognise Doug Mummerry, he bred and used pure wolfhounds for hunting and his dogs are in the lines of many crosses, but the Australian version of the Wolfhound is different to our show types ; Cheers.

Old Bangers would have needed resuscitation after this, hand dug in to barrows as we were working in a tight underpass and then tipped into a telehandler bucket. Job and knock on a Saturday morning and done for 10 in the morning.
