  5. I thought this all started with you saying putting kingspan in the floor was a waste of money and that a pitched roof was also a waste. You got replies explaining why they would be work the money and why the people thought so but now you’ve managed to make this into a cock measuring contest. You’ll never get all the time spent on here blowing your trumpet back again bud go out and put your talents to good use and get a few bob for your wife and kids.
  6. Stiffs telling me I don't know roofing when he hasn't a clue what I know when his full tool box and shed consists of a pencil and a sore thumb if you told him asbestos was best for your guttering he'd be looking for some lol

Building is my job mate, I build things from the ground up...lots and lots of things... I.also renovated houses for rental or sale, I've f****d about like this for 30 years...I can turn my hand to mist things, but I have chippies, sparks, plumbers, brickies etc who are better than me at their trades...so I get them to do it... my core work is steelwork and cladding systems, big units, commercial/industrial...that's my trade... but I'm happy to turn my hand to most things when I'm in the mood lol
  16. I’m glad it’s not just me who sees this

Going back to the start. . Wilf asked about metal sheet roofing, not slate, I gave some advice on what he asked and what I know about.. I've got his email and will send him some details and hopefully a bit of help on buying the stuff if I can.. My grandad was a roofer, pour and roll flat roofing, traditional felt roofing, my dad and both uncles are/were roofers the same as my grandad.. my old man is 74 and was on a roof 3 months ago as he can't say no lol... my grandad was at it into his 70s.... I never went down that road though, was always into the bigger commercial/industrial bui
  18. What about fit a door and frame
  19. What about fit a kitchen ?
  20. So newkid your a roofer but I needed all new drains in can you do that?
  21. He's gone lol lol
  22. Regarding dwelling lol who knows more about roofing stiff , ?
  23. Eh, and you need to lay off illegal substances, such as weed, apart from nettles that is, or you will end up in someone's back yard
  24. I'm only going on hearsay but there was a litter bred in Carlisle in the seventies. And I was told the whole litter were excellent and top, top retrievers. I never saw one in the flesh. If they came out looking like the bitch Trigger put up you would be on to a winner. Personally I would go for a working lab. The big, cloddy show type would be hopeless in my opinion. The working type are really smart...forever watching birds in the sky with a view to retrieving them, a lot lighter and love water.
