I had a pedigree one an weather never bothered it if it was busy, iv had rough coated dogs that hated the rain an smooth coated dogs that slept outside in it, they all diff as far as I’m concerned mate an like I said I’m not out in all weathers an that these days an if I am it’s deffo not all night haha

No sofas mate, bit of Astro on a tiled floor but they do have their own house with heating . Come in and out as they please

I like the broken coat lurchers. Can stand all weathers. Had a whippet none ped. Come hard winter it was bent over double in rain or wind. When walking. Nothing on them.

There's a Buddhist temple near me. I often go there for a walk around the gardens which are very peaceful. I've spoken to lots of mostly young people there who have decided to become monks. People from all over the world. They all say they are seeking peace and meaning in their lives. They all reject the materialist world. Fair. I quite often go into the temple just to observe and have occasionally spun the prayer wheels. But nothing came of my prayers, so I figured there was nothing in it and nobody out there.lol

I see in the news a few events held recently at the National Memorial Arbouretum in Staffordshire. Has anyone been?

No it was a mate of a mate who told me about a young whippet cross that was looking for a home as they jist broke up, it’s only 7 month old, but they said it limps sometimes aftwr it’s been running about, so that sealed the deal for me, was gonna have a look an I did, don’t you worry like I said I’ll have summat before you do owt haha
