  7. Nah, there’s a few things I tried “just once” and regretted Cheers.
  8. Called in at Martin Q's this afternoon, he had the racing on as it's Aintree weekend. I sat down, and he drew my attention to the telly, the last race, a horse called Zeus (something?)... "Remember my old Zeus dog Pabs. Big dog. Had him up at the farm? "Yeah Mart, loved 'ol Zeus" And with that, he picks up the phone and immediately puts a decent bet on the Zeus horse. "Watch this", he says, nodding at the telly... Then looks me in the eyes and says, "Remember that day when you came to the farm, and you said there's a hare in the front field, Pabs. And I slipped Z
  9. There was also a “Fast Eddy “ in Reservoir Dogs aswell ! Spooky, eh Cheers.
  10. That's a bit of a coincidence. My eldest lad bought a dog from Hancock, named him eddy. Ended up 27"tts and was fast as f**k. Caught everything, rabbit, hare, fox, badger, roe and fallow. A couple of fellas off this site seen him doing it.
  11. You have had offers of coming here with your your terriers to dig and runner's I thought with your b/t coming from hunt terriers even though the sire was ten months old and neither parent had seen anything I thought you would try it especially given your family is well up on terrier work what did you say only a iron hard terrier can do it's job you're clueless Buddy at least MC walks and gets amongst it will you this season with this yongester
  12. That would go against my deepest emotions and probably trigger a panic attack brought on by my obsessive compulsive disorder. You wouldn’t wish that on a vulnerable old man, would you ? Cheers.
  13. It was decent enough, she stopped enough hares, and bigger stuff. Nailed plenty of rats, and even came along on the odd shoot day, flushing with the gundogs (quite proud of that one too!) Think I've said on here a couple of years back, I just have a pop at most stuff now, more like I did 40 years ago, but slower, and with more brain and tact... Thanks for asking mate...
  14. Ok I’m glad your not pissed off with me then, but I dare you to write one post without cheers at the end Cheers.
