    We haven't booked flights nor decided where we are going for Christmas yet,the joys of freedom of choice,getting heavy snow overnight,just took a walk around the neighbourhood,it already feels a bit like Christmas.

    We used to have a BBQ at repulse bay on Christmas Day in HK.

    How many do you get in a season mate?Are they plentiful in your area?

    They are everywhere locally,even a couple of streets away they dammed a stream,doesn't take them long to chew through a tree.I can't remember how much the city spends on trapping them but its a fair old wedge.

    There was another robbery at Heathrow earlier this year or might have been last year,also a lady and suitcase,the airport used to be known locally as thief-row.

    Did Steel erecting on the isle of dogs many moons ago,I worked for an engineering firm from Lancashire,one of the welders had been a butcher initially,one night we got a deer up near epping,andy the butcher/welder cut it up and the ladies in the works canteen cooked it for us,fun times back then.

    Lots of deer around reading and Woking,I was on the Long Walk at Windsor for the Harry and Meghan wedding,I remember chatting to a bloke with a deerhound and a deerhound cross,and watching a muntie run right across a field behind the crowd.

    I saw a red breasted a few weeks back,not so common around me as the white breasted which I see on a daily basis,there’s a pair of bald eagles local but I haven’t seen them yet.

    White-breasted nuthatch mate,they are very common.

    No,the best one I can think of is the Peruvian takanakuy on Christmas day,get tanked up on booze and coca leaves,then the men and women from certain villages batter each other in a sort of civilised way on mutual ground with referees,theres a reason the refs have whips,the fights often spill into the streets,theres been a few deaths,brits are super civilised to some people.
