He'd been sacked twice for dishonesty. ( An undeclared dodgy loan and putting pressure on others to arrange passports for super rich pals) . He was always going to fail vetting even without his Epstein links. The whole country knew he was a dishonest, smarmy reptile. He should never have been considered for any job in government and possibly prosecuted for his past dishonesty . This business of politicians reinventing themselves after being sacked is a farce.
