Starmer has sent ONE army officer to Greenland in a show of solidarity with Denmark…….So Trump has just announced 10% tariffs on us and anyone else who has sent military to Greenland, going up to 25% tariffs on June ‘26 !

European countries should raise tariffs on US goods and pull teams out of the world cup until he see's sense on Greenland , its just a land grab for the oil and minerals

I think it must be because the US already has troops and bases on Greenland and a 1915 treaty allows them to have as many troops and bases on Greenland as they want.

I think he doesn’t want to defend it for free, he wants payment , as you say, in the rare earth minerals. Greenland is supposed to have 50% of the worlds known supplies.

i don`t think it works like that with trump, he has put a lot of tariffs on Canada, so Canada retaliated and trump just raised them higher, trumps has caused a lot of problems here for the working man in Canada, a lot of people have lost there jobs because of it, there was the car industries closing because of the tariffs put on by trump also the metal industry is struggling, the consciences i get from reports across the country that a lot of Canadians don`t like trump, not because of the way he is sorting out his country but more to do with the tariffs.

They have intelligence that we will never see, no doubt this is his blocker to russia and china, and as for vvanker starmer trying to act billy big nuts, trump will swat him out of the road, watch and see him help us out once starmer is up the road, and to be honest we need Americas protection too, as id never fight for the plebs we have in power now nor the spaz king either, what would we be fighting to save? By the way Wilf , one of the metaphorical turds you were throwing at me in the ICE thread was that I don't practise what I preach and that I should share the profits of the boat equally.  Unfortunately it is not my boat and I don't employ the crew.

The last time I was commercial fishing was when I was cockle fishing. On that occasion I employed 4 Scots lads and we did work on the traditional catch system. Which is why two of them bought their council houses outright and the other two bought brand new top of the range cars. One of which is still running and sits proudly  outside Tesco where he now works.

I did give the crew my own Christmas bonus off my own bat.
