We have had single mother and her teenage lad for Christmas dinner couple of years before last, they were ill last year, so we had Christmas dinner at Easter. She at her mothers this year, might do something Boxing Day. So instead of a big roast I'm going to do a buffet, with every thing can think of, Wifey likes the idea. I can pick and drink all day Lol. Cheers Arry Kinda early boxing day... My mate used to have a couple of pints and steak and chips for a good few years. I'm keeping it simple turkey roast , nice breaky , some cheese etc for supper. Boxing day is king all the cold cuts pickles etc pick all day chill out , gonna get the dogs completely f****d up first thing so I can relax , can't wait.
Halfhound 705
Love Christmas Day from start to finish go around on a couple of family visits in the morning time dropping off presents for the younger ones having a few drinks and catching up. Home then for a big turkey and ham roast with all the trimmings and a big bowl of trifle. Sleep then for 3 or 4 hours then up and get the place ready for a crowd to arrive in ours for a few drinks that night.

That looks fantastic mack . I'd love to have that freedom of choice , and for Christmas to feel like Christmas again. We get Christmas day and boxing day off. But we have to work two Saturdays to make up for it( so we actually have no time off) . Management have already started with veiled threats for anyone that doesn't turn up to do the overtime.
