What's that got to do with protein in tripe. Don't go back wards like the rest on here drove. We know that tripe not washed for human consumption would lead to some upset tummies darn the pits. Cooking like I say will kill the goodness so they eat it raw like we give the dogs for the goodness. Lol

Have you just read what I've put. You can wash it will water then freeze it to kill any bacteria . Not boil it or cook it.

What's difference between dogs and humans. Still carry bacterial shite from the cows gut. Just because we worm our dogs. Doesn't mean they can't pick any other nasties from the shite. Better to be safe than sorry.

That's that  ,pets at home vegetarian job....mostly water...give it some proper green tripe,and watch the difference ,bang some salmon heads/trim into it ,sprats ,oily fish, spoon of pure salmon oil over the biscuits couple of times a week

Am shooting to Bradford today Danny to get a few boxes in of mixed beef and tripe. A bought that Sunday due to place in Bradford being closed on a Sunday. But the stuff smells still in the bags of minced stuff. Got a little bag of beef mince and tripe to put him on. Didn't have time yesterday on with full decor of another build. Was hoping to get away but that didn't happen.

Difference is banger. Evolution. We can't cope eating raw meats. Dogs can and thrive. Although the kennel club have done their best to mess their dietary needs as well as their other deficiencies. Do your homework and see the ( benefits) in feeding dirty tripe to bleached tripe.
