I’m guessing a couple of boxes. Great looking knife that Bud. See you there later I grabbed 3 packs this morning, no idea if that's enough or not, got plenty of beer to wash it down tho thats the important thing!
Arry 24,811
Nice to meet up with every body again and a great day on the ponds. Thank you Kev and others for organising the event and doing the BBQ. Thank you SeanC for the entertainment the banter that made for a great evenings presentation, auction and raffle. Lot of laughs. A special thank you to Luccombes fishery for looking after us all and making us all welcome. And of course the breakfasts. Nice to see you all guys again for another great THL competition. Cheers Arry
white van man 3,512
I’ll second that Arry. Great weekend catching up with everyone. We are always made welcome at the venue. A decent amount of money raised for a local charity too. Thanks to the people who couldn’t make it but sent auction and raffle prizes down. My lad has already been out with his auction prize. Not what they were designed for but they are just the job. Cheers melb for donating.
Greyman 31,565
And another thank you to everyone involved good weekend lots of laughs and great to put a few more faces to names think the auction should go out live on air as Sean’s skill needs to be seen on a more international scale it’s a rare talent that needs a global audience, would also like to ask dykos if he would be kind enough to post my trainers on as they vanished soon after I won them lol ( jealousy’s a terrible thing) lovely few days with a great bunch for all the right reasons cheers all 6 1

Borr 7,831
Yeah thanks everyone from myself and family. Great weekend as usual. Delicious chilli, great meat from ken for the BBQ and some wicked hot gherkins from Sean, the pate from bud and of course the fry ups from the luccombes crew. My youngest is still championing his carp which he landed with some guidance from Kev. I enjoyed this year a lot quite a wild sea for the kids to body board in which was funny as. Plenty of fishing , good food company all round , brilliant entertainment from Sean as usual, hospitality from the luccombes massive, Cheers all see you soon or failing that the next comp. 4

It's made so that when it's closed with pellets inside , it doesn't go completely flat , and deform your pellets , and the loop is long enough , that you can open the pouch when youre shooting prone, and your pellets dont drop out. If you pm your postal address over , my mrs will make you a bespoke catapult pouch as a present for your lad mate . 4
Bendigo 809
Gutted as always I didn't make it but I'm always busy this fortnight over comp weekend. I always think it's a shame the rest of the forum members don't get to bid on some of the auction lots. Perhaps we can do a forum auction later in the year. Buts that's for a later time and I don't want to take away from your recent achievements and money raised. If you can let us know again what the money goes to and if possible put up a link like last year..... well done all
NEWKID 28,606
What a great weekend again! Seriously lads if you haven't been before it really is worth the effort, I probably laugh more on this weekend than the rest of the year, the banter is top notch, the food is great, the fishery is the most accommodating place you could wish for, there is nothing not too like. As all the posts, thanks to everyone who contributed, attended, cooked, cleaned, shifting shit, supplied prizes, chucked money in the pot, made the effort to travel hundreds of miles to be there... the list goes on. A massive thanks to Mary, Narima and Graham, they are friends of mine for over 30 years and they go above and beyond to make the weekend what it is, nothing is too much trouble and to be honest as much as we would like to move around the country with the comp (as we used too) you just wouldn't get what we get here. There are now a load of regular guests attending the match and getting involved with the weekend... it was one of the bigger years this year which made it an entertaining evening for the auction as Sean had more victims than normal to abuse! lol This year we raised for a local charity that supports families after suicide, this is personal to me as we lost 3 men in the last 18 months to suicide, one only 20 years old, I've watched the effect it has had on his father a good friend of mine and someone I've worked with for 20 years, it's seriously crushing. Petes Dragons has provided support to these families, one of the families is again close friends of mine and my wife, they are blown away by what we have done this weekend and have sent there sincere thanks.. they have told us this charity has been fantastic in the aftermath of Stefan's death. We raised nearly £2600 on the night, pretty amazing again for a bunch of hairy assed hunters sat around a fire pit, but it shows again the kindness and decency there is on this forum. This was our 13th year and we are over £35k raised now for various charities... its an event that has stood the test of time, as a community we should be proud of that! Link below for the charity, thanks to anyone that has donated and anyone that donates.
