Beechams who used to make corona drinks and Cresta its frothy man 70s advert, had a factory on the Isle of Dogs in the 70s/80s every one who worked there had shit loads of it.

This advert sounds like Officer Dibble in Top Cat could even be Top cat himself 😂

It was Mr bacon's round our way.I remember my Aunties boyfriend who's now been her husband  over 40 years drove a lorry for them for a little while and me and my 2 brothers suddenly went from 2 bottles between us to last the week to 2 crates. If we were out playing round the estate when the lorry came round on a Saturday afternoon hed pull up and hand us a whole bottle each. The other kids were well jelous.

It was Lowcock’s Lemonade around here, in the early to mid 80’s me and my brother would stay at my nannas on a Saturday and we could have a bottle off the pop man as a treat, she would also get us a copy of Viz on a Sunday morning ( my mam didn’t think Viz was appropriate for an 8 year old, but nanna didn’t mind)

The one and only time I got in bother with the police was pinching the pop out of someone's porch with some older kids. My first ever nose bleed was from one of them glass bottles my brother hit me with too 🤣

 Bloody pop man
